If that were true I'd agree with you, but seeing as PGI seems to think otherwise and they're the ones with the statistics I think I'm going to go with them for now.

So, seeing as how they never truly share their statistics, you by default agree with anything PGI has ever done, and will ever do, since they have all the statistics. That argument cuts in two directions.

I'm simply taking them at their word this time. That's all. I suppose it is possible they could be lying about the positive affects on the queue times since the change, but I think that's a bit ridiculous.

Voting for a game mode is rather silly. Sorry, guys, that's where I draw the line. Leave the game modes alone, unless you want a full scale riot at PGI.

I think the lesson learned will be "dont phrase the question in a biased way".

Being that to vote against the idea you had to vote against wanting the matches to be closer.

I think ppl saw that vote as:

Option A: Better matching and making the game better but you cant choose game mode
Option B: Crap matching and making the game worse but you can choose

Thats where you dont get it though. This poll is absurd. In no way should it EVER come up, where ONE side is completely favored, and the other shunned. Thats all this is doing.

The side that likes all map types, is being favored over the side that like choice on what they play. Even if this is a 100% representation of ALL MWO players EVER....50% of the player base has no right to say the other 50% shouldnt get a choice of what game mode they play. If 50% likes all maps, play all maps....but what does it matter what maps WE want to play...as eventually we will be fighting you IN THOSE MAPS.

+90% of matches ends when a team DIE!

So, where is the problem?

We need larger maps so light and medium mechs make sense, so conquest makes sense.
HAving only skirmish, I vote YES.

Iunno, dudebro over at PGI told us mechs having true double heat sinks allowed jenners to core out atlai in a matter of seconds. All of their own statistics, of course.

I can agree with you there, hopefully PGI won't keep the new changes if we don't have at least a 2/3rds majority, that would obviously be very unfair.

The map vote is absurd as they dont have the ppl to roll back the decision from what Russ said if I read that right

Well if the voting continues at this pace we should have about 4000 voters in a little over 10 hours. That'd be a pretty good turnout.
