If I am solo dropping and I get killed I will leave the match 9 times out of 10, whether its one minute into the match or 14 minutes into the match. That way I can jump into another mech and get into another match quickly.

If I am group dropping I will hang around 100 % of the time to try and watch and learn.

Do you stick around or bail?

I always stick around.

Usually, the reason is because I dropped in a favorite mech and want to keep dropping, or I'll do the "dead guy talking" thing and help out a new player/my team by reporting enemy positions (while the person I'm observing from is busy shooting or getting shot).

Also, you can pick up on things sticking around - builds, tactics, methods of piloting...

I stick around to ensure I get all the rewards I can get. I also enjoy watching mech combat and usually stick to one mech for an evening.

To be honest, over the weekend challenge I exited a few games post death / pre final score in order to get back out there, but that was in the minority.

I almost always stick around for various reasons. I honestly think newbies in particular should stick around and watch what people do, at least in the first few matches.

I usually stay and watch till the end. Sometimes I'll bail when it's obvious my team has no prayer of winning.

I watch every match to the end. I get to see how things played out and think about any mistakes I made in the match and how I could do better next time.

Sometimes I get to witness a great battle after my demise and there is always the possibility to learn something new, by watching others play.

With my triple-display setup and the resulting greater field of vision I am sometimes able to provide informations the player I'm watching missed.

I always stay and watch, or maybe grab a snack. I've never seen the point in "ragequitting" instantly after death, because your mech is still locked in the game anyways. Might as well get some closure and see how things went, and how you might be able to not dun-goof next time.

Depends on how fast I die If I got some oneshot to the back 1 minute into the game I will quit, If not I watch.

Me. I have found a ton of good builds and learned a hell of alot of good tactics by watching the matches.

Also if I have to be honest, I like to see my end of match performance and see how it compares and without a feature to view the results while in the mechlab, I am stuck waiting out the end of the match.

I watch if the spectating is fun, enjoying or interesting - i leave when i have more urgent stuff to do or if its boring - i play my own style that is fun to me and learn nothing form watching others bcs i would not mimic their Mechs anyway as exploring the capabilities of a specific setup for yourself is more rewarding than to be a copycat.
