Possibly not. I haven't seen a positive forum since the old HeavyMetalPro forum. And that was 12 years ago! They are still the nicest group of players I have met.

CB forums weren't terrible in the beginning.

In the beginning, no, but it didn't last as long as HM forum did.

Zombie-ing is good in a -D but generally once your sides are gone your CT was opened long ago and you won't live much longer. The ECM is such a huge factor in the long haul that it outweighs any extra seconds shooting from the -D's ct. All that to say, they are both good! But if I HAD to choose for some sort of league match I'd go DDC.

Hugely different criteria to Comp Play, though. At that time, it's Run Meta or you are handicapping the team, essentially. Mind you, if the team is down for that, good for them. But they ain't making the finals, lol.

It's why I stopped playing leagues. The only concept of fun appears to be winning, no matter how cookie cutter monotonous it is. Not my cup of tea. I'd rather lose, in a close match, with people running a variety of mechs, than win Comp Style. Of course, I'd rather win a close match running nonmeta, lol.

True, I was thinking of teams that move in to brawl quickly, might only want one DDC to cover movement and then prefer a -D for the extra brawling power, or some such.

D-DC, all the way, because the DC stands for 'damned charismatic.' In a D-DC, you almost never lack for friends...they follow you everywhere.

Wow. I love it when my thread blows up and contains 3 pages of straight mwo-forum-grade bitching lol.

But to be completely honest, after grinding the D-DC all night, I miss my RS way too much. Those dual arm Energy HP (harry potters obvi) were just too good. *Cheers Bishy*

Dunno. Both got so egocentric in their rants, and so constantly QQing, that I blocked them from my Twitter finally.

I Guess some White Knights are carrying for "the" Cause, and some it turns out, for "their" own Cause, and when the two diverge, true motivations and outlooks get revealed.

I find it weird, because I don't honestly remember any major things going on with PGI or MWO when the switches got flipped on those guys. But I'm sure they have spoken more with you, than with me. *Shrugs*

Tis the problem with Converts and other "Fanatics". When they lose faith, they become the most bitter of opposers.

It's pretty funny, considering how many times I have raked PGI, Russ, Paul and others over the coals at various times, 3pV, Pay4Consumables, the removal of GenDis, etc, that you guys still call me a White Knight. And then Shar Wolf goes and tears me a new one for questioning and blowing PGI up over some silly thing or another.

Be great if you guys ever realize that there is a whole spectrum of colors between White, and Black. But seem slike in these forums, you have to be one or the other. Lol.

Yeah, some egos got hurt a whole lot faster than others. didn't take long for some wannabe internet anarchists with Goon envy issues to start stinking up the place. :P

Nah Homeless Bill was the one I was thinking of when I said Heim, the biggest thing with Heim was me playing a cheesewhale and him an his whole side running nothing but meta builds then bitching at us for running cheesy meta lol

Then theres HB, who owns/runs HPG reddit but tends to post more in /r/MWO despite having vowed never to return and in true three year old style took his ball and went home:

Eh, yeah Homeless is probably just nuts. Lol.

That said, while I haven't paid much attention in recent times, in the past he often made a good bit of sense.
