What's so bad about polls?
This thread isn't the poll, the linked thread is.

The link is there because you can't create poll here. So what's so bad about them?
Since we can't create them here it's a pretty safe assumption that creating it somewhere else and then linking from here would be frowned upon as well.

User's pedantry goes against common sense here. Go report then like a good boy you are.

Why it is not allowed to create polls here in the first place. What's so bad about them?

Nobody said the poll was bad, nobody said they were reporting the thread. They said that cross linking is frowned upon and this thread will likely be locked because of it. Most likely, it is a house keeping issue.

Short range weapons need to be the highest damage weapons for the weight for the heat because range is a huge advantage.
Vote No on everything for balance.

Please keep in mind guys, just because they are harder to use now doesn't mean they are bad or need a buff.

Short ranged weapons already do have the highest damage for weight and for the heat.

Want to increase PPC speed? Let's increase AC/10 speed as well.
1100-1150 is a reasonable speed.

No they don't.
Clan medium laser has 40% range advantage and about 12% more heat.
The IS medium laser really needs a rollback of the laser heat nerf to compensate. What I'm trying to say here is that the damage benefit isn't high enough to compensate for really short range. The addition of longer range "standard" clan weapons made it worse. And they didn't even rollback the nerfs.
SRMs require artemis to not be crap. But they are still pretty lame compared to how they were when they had extra damage per missile and large explosive profiles that overlapped and caused extra damage.
SSRMs are just ruined when you consider how the IS version used to function; and now the clan version is just better (but not as good as the old version).
We aren't back to the days of PPC brawling but we really aren't where we should be with the close range weapons.
