I thought it was 12 for PPC and 19 for ERPPC, hm...
It was 4.5 in the past, now equal to the normal PPC.

Pasting tables doesn't work so well.

It was more a mention because 'Mechs like the Summoner are staying the same, but the JJ assaults are getting a buff. Seems bad.
Mea Culpa, fellow Speedfreak, I stand corrected.
My point remains though; people do not need any kind of encouragement for dropping in heavies or assaults - quite the contrary, they might need some disincentives.
Or at least some incentives to drive lights and mediums - which we just might have gotten via Rewards 2.0. We'll see.

Well if you look at smurfy, it's not updated yet, it was 7 for both PPC and ERPPC anyways. 15*0.18*7 = 18.9 that was the penalty for firing 3 ERPPCs at once.

Now if they'd just add modes and maps that can really take advantage of them, that would make me really interested. As it stands it's just a different way to reward us for doing the exact same thing.
They need to create situations where scouting and information gathering is more important.

Never mind, the entire PPC family is still worthless.

Not crying about it, though, just pointing it out.

It'll stop LRM-5 spam boats so it's a win in my book. You know, the ones that launch a constant stream of LRM fire and shake your screen to the point of uselessness.
At least when you got hammered by an AC/2 boat, it was probably your fault for getting in front of it.

I might get some flanking bonuses in my Jenner but I do a lot of head on fighting as well.

actually, it will do nothing whatsoever to those, since they chainfire which avoids ghost heat.... somewhat ironically that will now be pretty much the only viable use for LRM5s left lol.
what it stops is mechs like battlemasters and stalkers from mounting 2 large launchers, and then filling the rest of their ports with 5's to increase the size of the one off missile alpha, without adding ghost heat.

Last I checked it would, because GH still takes effect when you chain fire at too short a delay.
Fixing both LRM-5 boats, and whatever you want to call the other boats, is still a win in my book. Might promote more open combat and less "hide behind rocks because holy s**t there's so many LRM's".

Apparently the WubShee isn't a Brawler either....
I guess it takes more than a 200M optimal range. Apparently you need to be under 80 tons, but over 35.
