My dad has said (jokingly mind you) that I was his return on investment. Have kids, raise them right, and count on them looking after you later in life. Plus, when they are young, make them do all the crap work around the house (mow the lawn, rake leaves, pull weeds, etc...).

No guarentees though, they might live at home without ever getting a good job and not move out till their 30 :/ . Gamble you take lol.

The lack of any energy hard points really shocked me to be honest.

I was expecting a Yen-Lo type setup from the preview picture Russ posted up earlier, 1-2 ballistics, 1 missle, 1 energy or something.

A purely ammunition mech just doesn't do it for me, I can't even zombie with it

I am also one that wishes we could sell any mech, be it one from a package or a gift, it doesn't matter. Maybe I bought one I simply didn't like and now believe the MC's could be spent better? Maybe my OCD makes me feel bad when logging in. Maybe I don't want to spend that much MC to buy another two variants so I can properly skill them. The reason doesn't matter really.

Just let us be able to sell any mech, please.

Just shut it! All this kicking the gift horse in the mouth threads is getting long in the tooth and should should be deleted and your c-bils distributed to the thankful ones. Try just saying thanks for once it feels good and just might get rewarded with other new and cool free stuffs.

I for one would rather PGI waste there time on new maps than bother with another tab for the OCD folks. Yes the system needs lots of work and better options but moar maps < moar mechs but nothing beats free.

BROTIP: Go put clappy monkey in it and a tasty war horn lbx 10 and 3 srmx4 with 2 machine guns and the fastest motor it can hold and master it. Then come back and tell me how much it sucks.

I appreciate free stuff, but I do not like IS Mechs and wish to keep Clan Mechs only in my hangar, so I would rather sell this Cent and get a free mech bay. If not applicable for sale (why not, actually?) I would rather have it in some separate group/tab. Aaaand I also do not understand what is the problem with PGI - why not to sell and keep Clan and IS Mechs separately or add few more groups in MechLab to allow sort them out as we please?

They finally let us hide the Trial mechs from view for precisely that reason. Now they've given us some other mechs we can't hide from view.
