Clan Vs Is Balance Update

Small sample size with Clan victories at 64%
I am relatively happy with this seeing as the test increased the usual 50 ELO difference between teams to ~90 and growing the longer I ran the test - most matches I observed were around 100-120 ELO advantage to the Clan team.
Again with this in mind I think 64% is something I am fairly pleased with.
The new quirks still need more time to settle in and for people to use them in the best way. I may very well do some more quick Clan vs IS tests to gather more data sets.

Just to test if that ratio can get into the 50%s
I mean IS winning 36% of the time doesn't sound like a good time

there are still some energy reliant clan mechs that are not as efficient as they should be... IE nova. there are some brawler types that aren't as efficient as they once were before jump jet changes, IE summoner. there are some that need additional pods due the the fixed jets people don't want, IE timberwolf and kit fox.
and when an awesome can fire PPCs like a clan UAC, you know there's something wrong there.

You could have warned us. =(
I would happily joined the solo queue.
PS: And saying just 64% isn't something THAT useful, because clan mechs have big differences between them.
PS2: But it's good it lowered a bit... even not knowing which mechs were most used and how was their performance.

Unless Russ changed his mind last I saw with the ELO difference in favor of the clans 60% was his goal, not 50%.

I'm also curious to see how this sort of thing will shake out in a few more days, when people have had a chance to get the Ice Ferret fully unlocked, and when the Timby hits for Cbills.
Glad to see you running tests on this stuff at any rate.

I missed the occasion to do them before.

Is anything being done to look at these chassis?

i would also like to point out the lack of adders being used as well, the prime variant reliec on two PPCs, and runs too hot to be viable.
adder definitely needs some energy love

Nice! I can live with those figures. Bear in mind this may change with a larger test, too.
Also, there may very well be a lot of IS pilots trying out the mechs you have breathed new life into, that have not as yet achieved mastery over their deadly new machines.
You should run an event - pure Clan VS the 'Sphere, over a weekend.
Edit: Ha, I used 'bear in mind' against you, when it was more of a general statement to the masses. Do you mind if I ask how many matches ended up in your sample?

I think if you ran the tests for a day or two that number would shrink a bit more.

Not to mention quirks did just come out, so they're still settling in, getting optimized, etc, etc. I'd say they're more or less equal now
