so PGI is really not allowed to use Canon Camo or Canon Faction Logos? Afaik the logo for the Gray Death Legion looks much better.

Last not least - its not a big thing - but when Grayson did pilot the SHD and Lori the Locust - it did happen the last time on Verthandi - both were not married

I think he's referring to the hardpoints, not the aesthetics.

Unfortunately, it was the layout that I wanted least out of the options I posted. Looks like the best AC/20 Hawk of all the variants. Other than that one build......meh.

So they ARE quirking things ahead of time, even though they said theyd release them then see how it goes. Which is good. No complaint there.

But if it wasnt for this leak would we have waited months to find that out? Probably.

The leaker should be carried through the streets on our shoulders. Not ran through the streets by a mob. Or at least hired by PGI to do some damn press releases.

Theres no hype for anything, no marketing, no press...PGI needs all the help they can get.

The shadowhawk is probably giong to be 'meh'. The variant is a clone of the Gridiron (which is an amalgamation of 4 different HBK chassis), except those HBKs have quirks where this one will not. Sure it has 5 tons, good hit boxes, and jump jets, but the HBKs that it competes against have some pretty substantial buffs (20% plus). I see it as purely a C-Bill earner mech, not a competitor.

bah my love of locusts and the need to master all 6 of them vs my refusal to own any ECM mechs (yes i know i can always take it out but it still has one...)

shadowhawks are probably my least liked mediums so can pass on that with a clear conscious.

The Locust gets ECM, 2 energy in each side torso, and 2 ballistics in the CT.

The Shadow Hawk gets 2 energy in each arm, 1 missile in the head, 1 missile in the RT, and 1 ballistic in the LT.

It would be the first hero mech with ECM, but at the same time it is just a Locust so don't be expecting it to suddenly rip everyone to shreds.

The Shadow Hawk hero sounds good. I honestly cannot think of a better hardpoint setup for the Shadow Hawk that it already doesn't have than this.

One note of caution: Those could still change before release.

1 week before release, thereabout, the La Malinche still had JJ. So the ECM? They could still yank it.

They really should redact the ECM on the locust, or at the very least, give it to one of the other variants. I only had to go down a couple replies to see the first P2W post.....
