I'm sure the majority of people are more reasonable than that. Though considering the amount of people thinking that their little speedy Gonzales mech should be allowed to smack full force into anything and take next to no damage, it doesn't speak well for the tendency towards reason on the subject, does it?
I haven't seen too many people argue against collisions. Knockdowns worry people, but not collisions. People ram their light mechs into assault mechs because they can, because the game doesn't punish them. Players gonna play. That's why people are hiding behind invisible walls created by broken maps.

And that's where you're wrong. A mech with actual arms would have a much better time at leveraging itself up, as opposed to a mech like the Locust, that has basically NO arms, just stubby little weapons pods.
I'm not getting into another physics debate in this thread. It takes me basically the same time to stand up whether I'm using my arms or not. Agree to disagree.

And yet they've allowed the current free wheeling light 'mech suppository tactic last for over two years now.
Who does it seem like PGI is actually more afraid of disappointing?
How many people are playing light mechs vs assault mechs? Which mechs tend to get paid more and do more damage and get more kills? Light mechs or assault mechs?
Light mechs haven't been the dominant weight class since the Age of Squawk in 2012. Wake up and smell the burning Commandos.
