Above all, it's the lrm mechanic that suck.
Imo 3 things:
- difference between direct/indirect lrm possibility to hit (indirect fire should be more difficult)
- once lock achieved, lrm fire, and the salvo missiles should have more speed to hit the enemy. Or, like in BT, once lock achieved, sure damage.
-once the salvo is fired, lock must be lost (in BT every turn we must check lock)

Seriously, the counters are there. use them.
And sure, 1 ams does nothing really but when your entire team has one it lessens the overall damage done by LRMs significantly over the long game.

Not really. Read better. I would like lrm to be more effective, but lock more difficult, now they are just terribad

OP, I don't mean to be rude but.....there's an event going on. The event is being hosted in the Solo Queue. That means that everyone that wants the free sparklies will be in the Solo Queue this weekend. This event seems to have something to do with assists versus kills, at least according to most topics. LRMs are great at getting assists, less so for kills....expect to see more than usual.
The "meta" (or favored) tactic in the Solo Queue has been "the team with the most ECM covered LRM launchers wins" for a while now. The changes to BAP/CAP go a long way toward evening this but, unfortunately, most Solo players still don't bother to bring it. Until that changes, expect to see a lot of rain.....even moreso during events.

So again for some ppl who are assuming stuff which havent been said: Lrm´s are annoying and the game shouldnt constist 50% of Lrms. In many matches pug or team there are 4-7 assault lrm boats. As i said its not fun to play agsinst a team half full with lrm boats

Actually you are not rude at all. I pay actually alot teammatches and you would be suprised how many Lrm Teams you face there

Look, there's a lot of dynamic differences between the two queues...the most important of which is the concept of "team." In the group queue, you've got a team. In the solo queue, you've got 12 random people that have been thrown together and forced to put up with each other's incompetence. It is what it is.
The other important difference is builds. If you need ECM, the only way you can be sure you've got it is to bring it yourself. Same with BAP/CAP, AMS, UAV, Arty...whatever. That changes your builds significantly, sometimes. It is what it is. Events are always rough.

I normally have to pick my targets, like a lion picking out a weak animal from the herd. If I nail you, it is because you have become my prey. Use ECM, or AMS. I use AMS to protect my missile boat, travel with the pack, and I look for stragglers, Mechs off to themselves and out in the open. Then I let loose and let you pay for that mistake. The suggestions here are valid on how to deal with LRMs. They are not that easy to use. Many times I have been looking at a Mech and I don't have a target lock so I can't fire LRM's. At which points I will remove your Mech from play with laser fire.
This post is cold, and heartless. Just as play is on the battle field of MWO. If you were using LRM's yourself you just might understand this.

In the Group Queue, you've got organized people that play in leagues. They build their mechs according to a plan, they play a specific role and have voice communication.
In the Solo Queue, you've got 12 random people from 6 different time zones that speak 4 different languages. No way to tell who's bringing what and in many cases, whether or not they have a large difference in experience. It is what it is.
Everyone's got the "magic bullet" to fix this...tutorials, VOIP, Command Wheel, etc. No one thing is ever going to fix the random player thing. They dynamic is always going to be different. It kind of has to be.
