Seriously...I can just create an email, new account and play the other side anytime I want. What your doing is making me think it was a bad idea to buy Wave 2 and Resistance.

Time to rethink that one.

Maybe allow each account to have two or more Persona's. IS and Clan.

Maybe lock your account to your IP? Thats not perfect either though, Every time the power is dced from my router I get a new IP, then there are all kinds of ways to change it yourself.

What ways would you suggest OP? Dont just come up with a problem, thats nonconstructive (I know, I think Im having a stroke too). Try to help be a part of the solution (ow my brain).

not sure what you mean? If you want to jump sides you can, you just can't bring those shiny clan mechs with you and vice versa ONLY in the CW queue.

How about this: Can we have CW before people start making threads about how something they don't agree with or don't like is stupid?

I never saw rules about not making two accounts? If you have the money for it i dont see the problem. Most people will just keep one account.

Exactly, I mean why try to head off potential issues before hand when you can complain after and wait and have to deal with them while it's fixed? Crazy talk.

I mean it don't matter what side you play on. Mainly cause it cannot be controlled and its counter productive financially to split the player base in mech. I gave my idea. Dual Persona per account two names...one for IS and one for Clan

Eh? The normal queue is still there. It just means you won't be able to jump to the winning side in a war.

Locked sides for a campaign is the right way to go about it. It will give a sense of ownership and an actual purpose to playing other than just winning a match over and over and over...

Not really. Better to air out the issues before it goes live.

You do realize you can do all of that outside of the CW queue right?

Not what I read. What I read is I have to wait 2-3 months to switch. Meanwhile account number two I already playing both sides. Its just stupid.

It's only locked if you have one account which since its FTP game I can have 100 free accounts.

And I'll have Clan mechs.

$360 worth of clan mechs I can't use for CW. I have no sympathy for you.

Yeah I'd like to be able to play CW modes and maps with my IS 'mechs.

I guess the only thing necessary is a way to prevent griefing, like being dead weight for a certain side.

Alternately there can just be drop ship mode and CW maps for the normal queue.

you're referring to contracts.
That has absolutely nothing to do with Clan side or IS side.

Sure you can, play as an IS faction
or
Play in the pub queue
See how easy that was?

And what exactly is stopping you from playing them? You won't be able to play them in CW but you'll still be able to drop in the regular solo or group queue and run whatever you want.

because the sense of entitlement in this community is strong.
"I should be able to play every way and any way I want in every single aspect of the game and anyone who wanted anything different should have to cater to my wants even though I have several options to play exactly how I stated, but that one singular mode for others who don't want that should be changed and cater to me"

I'm 100% in favor of a ONE TIME ONLY chance for anyone to split their account into two accounts and move all of their clan mechs or IS mechs to the 2nd account.

I'd say this is fair because people can argue they could have and would have done that (some smart people did) had they had perfect information about how CW would work.

But again that would be one time only and you wouldn't get to cry and take it back later, like say if they add in a salvage system or mixed tech way down the line (god I hope not but whatever).
