As of today, Niko is no longer at PGI.. Our long loved community manager has left us..

May there be many a tear shed for him today :( :(

Who will now break the bad news to us.. who will take the communitys weight when we backlash at PGI, WHO WILL NOW TELL US THE GOOD NEWS.

Russ & Paul are doing a great job of giving us great news as of late.

Garth streamed with the NGNG guys too much and Niko well I can't figure out what he did.

Who will get the entire team banned from Reddit? Who will write off an entire sub reddit? Who will try to censor the entire internet?
So far PGI's choices for CM have been lacking. Let's hope they've learned their lesson. Now hopefully we can move on and have more positive changes.

Well hopefully he lands on his feet - It's pretty stressful to leave/lose a job around this time of year - I don't care who you are or what you do.

All the best, Niko.

Phil or Koniving are 100% great/helpful dudes, and they'd get my vote, but from what I've heard of community managing, it's one hell of a stressful job that's not very rewarding, just look at all the bickering and crap they'd have to put up with, I wouldn't wish that one either one of them.

So... are we going to talk about filling that gaping hole? Because I've seen a documentary about that on the internet.

I lost (one of) my jobs as well. November the first actually. Pretty pissed, because no christmas for me. Have to look for another.

Good luck Niko, hard time to lose your job just before christmas.

Any announcement by the way?

Perhaps he just couldnt handle it anymore? He pretty much did the community management alone and alot of support too. Perhaps it was just too much work and they didnt provide him any help and then he said F this....?

Sometimes people quit if the job is ****

No one said he lost his job, perhaps he quit

His sarcasm in many threads will not be missed. And his foul-up at the Reddit forums has been PGI's most embarrasing moment. So....na, na, na, na. Na, na, na, na....hey hey hey....goodbye! :D

I guess he lost his job a while ago, because it's kind of like when we learned that Garth had lost his job. I suddenly realized I hadn't heard from him in a long while. Frankly, I haven't seen or heard much from Niko the past few months.

It's a pity that PGI lacked a strong community manager these past few months, because the whole Player Council idea should have been a collaboration between players and the PGI community manager, IMO. You can't just tell a big blob of thousands of people to spontaneously organize.

If PGI is ever going to include the fans in figuring out how to solve the ECM issues, ghost heat, collisions & knockdown, etc, I think they need a community manager to take charge. Russ can't possibly do it all by himself, even though it seems he wants to. At some point, it's almost like Russ just went "Well, if you want something done right..." and then just took on Paul and Niko's job in addition to his own.

I'd do this job, but... I think I'd do better as a ombudsman for PGI.

Of course I'm an American and not cheap...

Plot twist: PGI is Paul and Russ alone. They do everything

Makes sense with Russ looking like he didn't sleep for 6 months.
