But even as the last planet but Rasalhague falls, as it surely must, this will not be an end to the enduring and stoic people of Rasalhague. Clan Governance Districts and Regions already are working hand in hand with local nationals to restore what minimal disruption there has been throughout the 66 FRR worlds (http://www.reddit.co..._battle_report/) currently in Clan stewardship. AS EVERYONE CAN ATTEST Clan Units have ONLY attacked each of the 15-Sector Defensive Bastions arrayed per planet. NO CLAN MUNITION HAS FALLEN ON A SINGLE RIVER CITY, NOR FOREST COLONY IN ALL THESE MANY DAYS OF CW.
And this is all to the good, when it is realized that generations of Viche-Rasalhaugue citizens (yet to be born) will come to understand the complex and multi-sided truth of these dark days prior to the liberation of Terra.
HAHAHAHAHA! As if facing clanner tech wasn't bad enough, now they wish to bore us to death.(pretend I'm not too old to know how to make that little sidewise smiley face here)

A Week in Review
With the chaos of one of the hardest-fought weeks around the Inner Sphere, the TL,DR offers a 'Week in Review' to cover the highlights both in the FRR and around the Inner Sphere.
Around the Inner Sphere
Steiner Slowing Falcons; CeaseFire with Mark/FRR
--While their stance on the Star League remains unclear - as several units respond positively while others have yet to do so - Steiner has nevertheless made good on the offensive against the Jade Falcons. With Marik stepping back attacks and Kurita focused on fighting Davion, Steiner has only had to worry about the Jade Falcons for the past week. Furthermore, with Jade Falcon cutting off the Ghost Bear's attack route into Steiner, the Falcons are the only Clan that can fight Steiner. Jade Falcon has been pressing Steiner hard, but has been unable to make much headway thanks to Steiner's counterattacks.
The result has been a relative stalemate, with neither side gaining much of an advantage.
Marik Closing the Gap around Terra
--Marik is trying to complete their "Encirclement of Terra" as the Clans push on and Liao and Kurita hand it to Davion. Marik's progress has been slowed somewhat over the past week, as much of their forces - both loyal and mercenary affiliated - have been sent to the FRR to become the driving effort of the Star League. Even while facing little-to-no contribution from other Houses - still intent on fighting each other rather than the Clans - Marik has not given up on the dream of the Star League, and is employing as many resources as possible to both defend the FRR and - should the FRR fall - have their defensive perimeter around Terra ready to meet the Clans head-on.
Despite Marik's intent on keeping an equal voice amongst the powers that make the Star League, it would appear that they have taken the leading role regardless - which only seems to affirm earlier claims of it being a "Marik League". For all the clout they get from other Houses though, no one can deny Marik has laid down the most support for a nation they really have little need to protect.
Liao CF with Davion Fails
--After several talks between the heads of Liao and Davion, peace broke down late last week and an early ceasefire from Liao was revoked by Liao commanders. Liao faction leaders initially imposed the "Soft Ceasefire", but found strong resistance from many within the ranks, along with several Liao units. With a virtual civil war brewing over the issue, Liao and Davion sat down for talks - and said talks evaporated quickly. Liao has continued to push Davion hard since then, eating up more of Davion space without mercy. Liao still sends occasional help to the FRR as part of the Star League, but much of the initial help promised seems to have already dried up.
Davion Struggles to Support SL While Under Attack
--Davion has been a quiet voice since the beginning of the Star League, but has made it known they want to participate and help the Inner Sphere. However, much of Davion has complained that the 'Open War' declaration from Kurita and the renewed aggression from Liao prevents them from sending aid to the FRR - the current objective of the Star League. With tensions running high across the Southern States, Davion seems ill-prepared to render any assistance to the Star League. Efforts may be made to try and re-open diplomatic talks, but for now it seems both Liao and Kurita have "had it" with Davion.
Kurita Pulls Out of Star League
--Kurita was the first and so far only Faction to pull out of the Star League. Determined to 'go it alone' and vehemently against the ceasefire proposal, Kurita declared its intentions to withdraw early from the Star League. Such declaration has left them without protection from Star League units, along with the withdraw of a significant portion of their mercenaries, but Kurita has nevertheless pushed hard into Davion territory over the last three weeks, and they show no signs of wanting to stop now.
Clans Fighting Each Other as much as IS
--Inter-Clan fighting has broken out in waves over the past week, with Clan Wolf and now Clan Ghost Bear being the lead instigators. Clan Wolf has been pushing Clan Ghost Bear for a little over two weeks, fighting to get an attack lane back into the Inner Sphere worlds. Now that they have that lane and are fighting Inner Sphere units, it seems their attacks on each other have lost interest. Ghost Bear on the other hand, is just getting started. After losing many planets to Wolf for an invasion corridor, and several to Jade Falcons in an effort to prevent the Bears from cutting them off, the Bears have started to fight back. Fighting has broken out between the Falcons and the Bears, with the Smoke Jaguars (who cut off the Bear attack lane a little over a week ago) also getting dragged into the mix. Fighting continues to intensify as the issue has become almost a matter of pride of 'which is the best Clan'. The inter-Clan fighting has been a much-needed relief for all Inner Sphere factions, who can either breath easy or go on the offensive against a divided Clan Invasion.

Only House Marik stands above it.
I hesitate to say it, but it appears they are the closest thing to ComStar we have in these desperate times.
Whatever the outcome the FRR will not forgot the selfless acts of the Free Worlds League.
Steward: "Captain-General, The FRR is falling and the other IS Houses are fighting among themselves! If we do not act quickly they will be lost!"
Captain-General: "We're not the Star League they deserve, but we're the one they need."

Wait until you get your hands on the mead we don't sell to tourists. Oh wait, you can't, we drank that in that huge KungsArmé party that we threw when the invasion started. I still got a hangover from that one.

FRR Insider's Report
Clan Invasion Stalled; Fierce Fighting On the Front
--With the help of massive numbers of Mercenaries and the defensive support of the New Star League, the FRR has fought the Clans to a stand-still. For the past week no significant gains have been made by either side, as both factions trade worlds back and forth. It is worth noting that while the Smoke Jaguars have been driven out, Ghost Bear has been making up for those losses and Clan Wolf has been an ever-present threat.
Mercenaries Stem the Tide of Clans
--Star League-aligned Mercenaries that poured into FRR last week to help fight off the last push of the Clans have certainly earned their keep. Along with the previously noted mercs, the [228] and [Lord] have also been reported in FRR employ. Even the elusive Eridani Light Ponies are rumored to be on the FRR's frontlines, swelling an already impressive fighting force.
Tukayyid Retaken; Smoke Jaguars Routed
--With a final push yesterday, the Smoke Jaguars were pushed out of FRR's remaining territory. The third 'Battle of Tukayyid' ended in victory for the KungsArme, and with that the Smoke Jaguars have no choice but to push back against Kurita, who has divided their attention for some time.
FRR Remains Neutral in IS Conflicts
--With the ongoing conflicts between Liao and Davion, and the recent hostilities between Marik and Draconis, FRR has found itself sitting on the sidelines watching furious battles between friends and allies. With the Clans bearing down on their remaining worlds, the FRR has han no choice but to ignore the conflicts and uprisings in the 'Sphere and concentrate on fighting off the horde. The FRR has made it clear it wishes to remain neutral in the conflict officially, but efforts are also being made to serve as a 3rd party in any peace talks between nations. With the Clans still very much a threat, it's easy to see why the FRR would be most interested in a peaceful Inner Sphere.
13 Planets Remain FRR
--Just thirteen planets remain in FRR hands, not including Fortress Rasalhague, deep behind enemy lines.

Its not "just 13 left" anymore, its 13 again, and it will be 14 and 15 very soon.
