It has three canonic variants pre-3050, although they are pretty much the same and rare outside of ComStar. ...like a handful in service of Rhonda's Irregulars, the Black Heart Roses, and the Blackstone Highlanders.
Anyway I would love to have an 80t Mech with a 400-engine. (iirc, there is only the hero Victor that could do that).

Since PGI needs to make mechs for income, why not a fan favorite like the Bushwacker?

I would like to see the Champion though...

As an assault mech, I would prefer a more common chassis.
The Charger is another fast 80 tonner, but with very diverse variants. It is not very popular, because of some poor stock variants, but it can be very good after the mechlab.

And I like LosTech-Mechs. (I would also love to see the Spector, Wyvern, Cestus, Thunderhawk...).

You said Spartan and I thought Longbow. I'm like "Yeah, a missile boat assault that isn't a Stalker, I'm good with that."

Wasn't "Spartan" the Macross name for the Archer?
Archer = Gladiator
Longbow = Spartan
Rifleman = Radar X
Warhammer = Excalibur
Valkyrie = Veritech Fighter
Phoenix Hawk = Super Veritech
Crusader = Armored Veritech
(Just looked in my Robotech RPG book from Palladium)

Longbow = Spartan
(I looked it up, the Archer is known as both the "Spartan" and the "Gladiator"; Longbow is the "Phalanx"; Rifleman is the "Defender"; Warhammer is the "Tomahawk")
Jesus that's confusing

Nothing too confusing.
Macross was the original Japanese entity that was licensed in the USA to be the first third of the Robotech Saga. As Metus said, they used different names in the different markets and versions.
And of course, FASA licensed rights from StudioNue around the time HG obtained rights from a different studio that did not actually own the IP rights, for Robotech.

Wasn't its Macross/Robotech precursor a Zentradi machine?
Ed: clarity

And the OST series of mechs are LOOSELY based off the Regult Battlepods used by the Zentraedi Foot Soldiers.
OSTs: I'm not thinking we'll see those in the game any time soon.
Then again, they'll probably end up showing up this year just to show I've been irresponsibly predictive

I'd love to see Osts, personally.
I mean, if anyone can make them cool-looking, it's our Alex!
