That is a nice looking Mech and the change in the re-scale is HUGE difference (as in much smaller) difference. Almost makes me want to buy an IS Mech.....almost.

The quirks are listed on the one page. It looks like it has quite a few. Acceleration, turn rate, torso twist, lots of structure and a bit of armor.

We can only hope.

I really really hope PGI doesn't screw over the rest of the catapults. I mean, they really are hardpoint starved in comparison to newer mechs. Like 6 hardpoints? When you have Lights with 8+ hardpoints running around

Just missile velocity- which is nice, but it doesn't nearly get the weapon oomph of it's near cousins in the C series. I was at least hoping to see -C1 energy quirks considering that's what the main body of the 'Mech is built off of (effectively, it's a C1 with C4 arms and weaker quirks).

Also hoping the non-Hero types get some hardpoint love.

Also I will take 1v1 request....I can fight on Veteran but my aim is not sharp enough with a joy stick yet to compete with that (they do not miss!)

Yeah...8 was actually really good about backwards compatibility. MW3/4 and MC2 all ran pretty decent for me. Sadly 10 screwed that pooch.

if I could run it on my system, I'd play it in a heartbeat. Campaign mode is a million times more fun than TDM modes, IMO:

I am still on 8, and own an Original copy of MW4: Vengeance, so do you know how to make it run?? I've had no success on a x64 system trying compatibility mode.

honestly, no. It seems to be your usual Windows mystery tour. Right GPU, right whatever. I just know on my 64 system, all those games ran. MC2 would often glitch when you opened it. Though 7 was better for MC2 and MW3. Conversely my 7 system did not like MW4 one bit.

A fellow member of CGBI helped me install it awhile ago, and I think we found out it does work on some Windows 10 computers. Its worth a shot though.

Installation steps:

1) Download file
2) Extract to a suitable folder
3) Install the MTXExtractor tool
4) Run the extractor from desktop
5) Click Browse
6) use the file browser to find the folder you extracted the files to
7) select mechwarrior4mercenaries.all.to.51.03.01.0028.mtx and click open
8) A new window will pop up, click browse and select where you want to install to
9) When selected click on start.
10) Repeat steps 5 to 9 for mechwarrior4mercenaries.51.03.01.0028.to.51.03.01.0029.mtx
11) Repeat steps 5 to 9 for mechwarrior4mercenaries.51.03.01.0029.to.51.03.01.0030.mtx
12) Extract the MW4 hotfixes file
13) Run the first hotfix (mekpak31.0030a(0030)-hotfix)
14) click browse and locate the folder where you have MW4 installed, then click apply
15) Repeat this for the next two hotfixes (mekpak31.0030b(0030x)-hotfix2 then mekpak31.0030c(0030x)-hotfix3)

You should then be able to play MW4 mercenaries. Just as long as you payed good attention to the numbers of the files and done them in the right order. Past that, the config tool and .ini edits may need to be used to change a few settings around to get it looking at it's best.
