Nope, but they are better trained. Posted Image

Give me a Battalion of the P.P.C.L.I. over any US Army Light Infantry Battalion any day.

You do understand that the PPCLI is more or less tier 2 operations force? They are not just a regular Light Infantry regiment.Posted Image

I know, but I still liked the M3's and M1's from that era lol. That era of the 1980's and US/NATO Forces vs WARSAW is interesting to me. 11th cav probably favorite unit to follow from there. Back when we had real Cavalry in general and not this light infantry/Cavalry stuff.

Reminds me...need to finish my kitbash build of an M1IP....

I can understand that, I had a relative in the 7th Calvary during the American Indian wars, his body was never found after the battle of the Little Bighorn, he is still to this day listed as M.I.A. and presumed dead. (A very likely presumption considering that he would be 156 if he were still alive...)

On a side note, due to my family's relationship with the 7th Cav, I have a fondness for them, but I didn't serve with them. Something about the in unit motto of "If there is a mascara, we're in it." leaves me a little less interested in being attached to it...

Kay, I find a lot of Americans don't realize just how well trained Canadian forces are, or that they are often used by the US military to fill gaps in their own line up... Much like the AFFS and LCAF.

Never heard of that Mech.....Posted Image

but I'm really excited to get a scale for the statement "never done before" - using the Russ:English dictonary - i would translate never to soon.

So the statement is soon done before... but this doesn't make sense at all Posted Image

I'm curious about what it will be and if he is going to really miss the mark of what the players really want.

For what?

I've made all of my calculated and reckless guesstimations.

Nothing for it now but to wait.

in my case literally... I'm on Vancouver Island, about 200-ish KM from PGI's HQ.

I just want to see how badly PGI drops the ball on this... but if they actually manage to get it in the net, I will be impressed.
