And he sort of hinted the next mech, I guess.

Oh? Might you be willing to expand on that a bit?

I dropped out of the stream pretty early, before that came up.

And for my question: "Alex, what is the mech you want the most to be released in MWO?" he chose to not answer, saying it would be a sort of confirmation (?)... hmmm... I wonder if that alone is a hint about the next mech.

Let me change my question: "Alex, the mech of next month, which we all know it will be the Piranha, is the mech you want the most to be released in MWO?" Posted Image

To be honest I am more exited about the new (loyalty) variants coming soon. The FCCW-era means there are many great new variants of classic Mechs, which is important considering some Mechs have only few variants in MWO (Marauder e.g.).

I am also somewhat interested in the new Clan medium Mech but that really depends on what Mech exactly it will be.

And the Piranha... well, I think it should be in-game and I wouldn't mind its release, but I don't care enough to buy it either. The money is where the heart is.

Oh, the Annual Rewards Program is nice!!!

I'm really hopping for the Banshee 6S, Dragon 7K, Linebacker H and Warhawk D/F.

I'd prefer the Dragon 1G.

If we could get Arrow IV working, the only robot I'd want getting it for the IS before War Crimes Urbie is the Catapult.

(Naga would be gimme gimme though.)

You can have the Catapult, I'll take a Longbow LGB-8V, two Arrow IV with 8t of ammo to feed them.

Oh, I'd take an -8V. It's just out of timeline for now.

I always made a lobby against the Flea but that's because I wanted some classics first. With the Locust already in game and after the release of the Wasp, I see no better 20 tonner than the Flea, and really hope it will make it. (and becomes some sort of "IS Piranha")

Good to hear Posted Image I hope it will make it too. Its that one IS light mech I want to see included before I can rest my shoulders. I hoped for the Clan Cougar so there Im satisfied.

Speaking of which.. The Flea could be to the Locust like the Cougar are to the Adder/ Kit Fox. Less speed but with more hardpoints and higher mounts.

I sooo want the little bugger, please PGI, just make it happen. It have waited long enough Posted Image

Oh yeah, and of course add the Fire Ant as the hero!

While people are chatting about the Flea,

Just wanna re-establish my personal opinion on it. If the Flea in MWO is made anything like the old concept art, then I think it's too similar to the Locust and doesn't really have a strong reason to be in this game. Similar builds, similar geometry, similar speeds, same tonnage. I just don't see the point.

I want the Flea to be different from the Locust. I want it to be more obviously inspired by the original battletech art which more resembled an AT-ST. If you give the Flea that unique geometry, then helI yeah I want it in the game.

THIS.

The MW4 based Flea art is an abomination (as well as too close to the Locust), and that is one of the reasons I was against it.

THIS is a Flea

Equipment wise, aside from the Arrow IV launchers, everything she has is in the current tech level.

Timeline got the boot when Piranha unleashed some of the Kodiak variants, specifically the Kodiak 3, it wasn't invented by Clan Snow Raven until the mid 3060's as an AA platform. Rather than time line, it's now era level equipment.

So these would be the okay variants of the Longbow right now:

LGB-7Q
LGB-7V
LGB-12C
LGB-12R
LGB-13C

Everything else is using tech that is not currently in game, including my favorite variant the LGB-13NAIS with three LAC/5's in each arm.

Apparently, not enough.

I really hope Alex Iglesias will make another Flea, more different than the Locust, when the mech comes to MWO.
