Think about this as well, the first video from Piranha featured a War hammer and they then released a statement saying the delay wasn't due to any legal actions. What if the delay was them redesigning the unseen to be new reseen?
If 'Mech #20 is going to be a redesigned Unseen, it'd most likely be a Battlemaster.

Me too. It fits with the Battletech better, being a thing that looks good, but could use a bit of a new paint here and there. Much better than unseens you can't touch or you ruin their purpose, or reseens, on which even a plastic surgery wouldn't help.

Yeah, i remeber. In the old MW2 imple for PS1, you could unlock the Tarantula Quadmech.
That was unlockable on PC as well. I could not get the Battlemaster IIC to drop, though; I could open it in the mechlab, but the game crashed each time I tried to drop with it in my star or the enemy's.
The Tarantula worked just fine, though.

There was a patch for that, it fixed the crash.

I feel it, and if it happens I will rage. I just hope said rage is mitigated by the next mech being amazing. Judging by previous concept art it's highly likely.

Can't have the Atlas being the only 100ton IS Mech for the whole time.
Here's my guess.
The next 100ton Mech will not be until the Clan Mechs come in and it will be the Dire Wolf (Diashi)

We won't be getting another 100 Tonner, at least until PGI has gone through a lot of other Assaults.
This is because the other two non-OmniMech 100 Tonners are used exclusively by the Wolf's Dragoons and the Clans.
As for the first four Clan Mechs the safe bet is the following:
Assault: Dire Wolf
Heavy: Timber Wolf
Medium: Shadow Cat (or Stormcrow)
Light: Fire Moth (or Adder)

The Shadow Cat isn't on the TRO 3050 list and wasn't used during the first years of the Clan Invasion. You wanna run an 45 ton Omni? Take the Ice Ferret! It's a good choice.

Shouldn't matter. It's introduction date falls within the timeline and it fits the faction.
So far if a Mech has enough variants, falls within the timeline, and fits the faction, it hasn't been excluded.
It isn't stuck in this ambiguous faction grey area like the Annihilator or the Imp.

The Adder (Puma) would be the most likely choice for the first Clan light 'mech. It's easily recognizable (it's been in almost every Mechwarrior game to date), and it doesnt break the netcode barrier like the Fire Moth.

Next 'mech will obviously be an I.S. Assault, the Zeus is the front runner in my mind but it might well be the Banshee. Time will tell.
After that, I expect we'll start seeing the Clan 'mechs announced. My prediction for the first two rounds are as follows, this is assuming they maintain announcing a light, medium, heavy, and assault in that order.
Light #1: Uller (Kit Fox)
Medium #1: Ryoken (Stormcrow)
Heavy #1: Madcat (Timberwolf) <--no brainer
Assault #1: Daishi (Dire Wolf) <-- mostly a no brainer
The second round of Clan 'mechs will be something akin to this I think.
Light #2: Puma (Adder)
Medium #2: Blackhawk (Nova)
Heavy #2: Thor (Summoner) <-- Possible replacement; Loki (Hellbringer)
Assault #2: Masakari (Warhawk) <-- Possible replacement; Man O' War (Gargoyle)
The third ronud after that I'll not speculate on, but that gives a fairly good spread of Omnimechs to play with right out of the gate.
Just my thoughts on that here. See y'all dirtside <S>
