Has it been considered before?
Has the correct number of variants, fits the timeline, looks pretty cool (subjective I guess)
Anyone potentially interested in the Mongoose light mech?
Has it been considered before?

Would take this over the Urbie or Firestarter (close running with the Firestarter though).

Apart from Zeus, I certainly hope to have any of these mechs (Lots of Xin sheng mechs!) to appear but then...
Sha Yu (Not available in this timeline, yet)
Starslayer (I don't think there are enough variants)
Huron Warrior (Not available in this timeline, yet)
Uziel (Not available in this timeline, yet)
Men Shen (Not available in this timeline, yet)
Penetrator (Not available in this timeline, yet)
Zeus
Mauler (Not enough variants)
Devastator (Not enough variants)
For me,
I would like to see both the vindicator

and the Emperor at some point

Cheers

Well, except for one variant with a SRM-2, all other variants are laser-only, which is pretty boring. Besides, I don't think PGI would create the Death's Knell to make it obsolete in a second moment.
PS: Mongoose is a great TT mech, but it wouldn't add much to a game already with the Jenner.

at some basic point, new mechs aren't going "to add much" anyhow. Only 3 classes of weapons, to have JJs or not to have JJs, and then number of hardpoints. Sorta limited to overall differences. It's really going to come down to module slots, quirks and basic stats like twist rate and arm reflex to differentiate mechs, basically tuning to what works best for your playstyle, so can't really say I am too worried about what a mech "adds" or "brings", anymore.

Well, it turns out they meant it seriously... really seriously.

P.S: That Banshee could be a great hint at what's to come guys, since now it clearly resembles a MW:O design and well, it wouldn't be the first time we've got a sneak peek like that.

The collar around the head and the overall chest's shape looks very similar to the Atlas. Kinda worries me of near identical hitboxes of an Atlas' RT as both the RT and LT on the Banshee.
