Hey, no offense, it was just my opinion. Or better I have to say my statement for the Marauder, or the Warhammer is just a wish.
Like opinions are just like a**holes, everyone has one! And last but not least, never say never.

well if you know anyone who wants to buy Harmony Gold, or sue them into oblivion, I might retract the "never" part. And throw a huge "ding dong the witch is dead" party. HG gave my childhood Robotech, for which I am very grateful, but have been nothing more than a blight greedily holding onto a license they have done nothing to promote or expand, since. Even the Japanese companies that own the original properties I have heard have come to loathe them for the way they have basically locked off North America.

Back to topic, we will probably have a new light mech next month. My bets are on the Javelin.

The Javelin is awkward... if you give it too much extra hardpoints, it will fase out the Commando entirely. If you don't give it extra hardpoints, it will be scrap.

Let's look at the variants:
JVN-10N: 2 SRM6s (only 2 missile hardpoints is really bad - 4 missile hardpoint with 6 tubes would be OP)
JVN-10F: 4 medium lasers (very well... 4 energy hardpoints... Jenner is much better)
JVN-10P: 1 SRM6 and 2 SSRM2s (3 missile hardpoints... if the 10N gets 4 hardpoints, this should have 5: 2 of 6 tubes, 3 of 2 tubes)

really depends on if they go with the original AHML method, or the LMHA they did with Phoenix and the Clan packs.

I'd say Battleaxe will probably not happen for a very long time. Plus I prefer the Hammerhands, myself. But both are Primitive mechs (and unlike the Banshee, largely gone in this timeline).

HMH-5D would be sooooooooo SEXY. Sadly, won't be til the Jihad before they come back.

Bishop Steiner you think you could draw a "Fire Moth" I don't remember you drawing one before plus I think you would make a pretty good one. I see were thinking about new heavies? This is a difficult choice for PGI right now I bet theres only a few choices.

It's pretty much anybody's guess at this point.

Dev tweets have indicated that we're returning to the light -> medium -> heavy -> assault cycle, which, naturally, would start with a light 'mech. With the Banshee completing the tonnage roster, it's reasonable to assume that they might want to begin that cycle next month.

On the other hand, we're smack in the middle of a 4 'mech cycle, that's already had an assault and a light, which would indicate the next 2 are a medium and heavy, which would take us to June, and clans, which is another reasonable place to restart the cycle.

On the other-other hand, this 4 'mech cycle also includes the Sabre mediums, which may "count," indicating that it's time to start over at light again.

On the other-other-other hand, if Sabre mediums count, we're way overdue for a new heavy.

EVEN MORE HANDS: The Sabre releases for this month and last were likely planned to occur in April and May, taking us to June with the Banshee and Firestarter. They were moved up to February and March because they were promised then in the fine print of the Sabre package. This means the next 2 months probably didn't even have 'mech releases planned until a month or so ago, which further confuses the issue.

The real question here is: does PGI think it's important for the clan and IS releases to sync up? Does it matter to them that the cbill market gets (for example) an Uller and Panther at the same time? If so, they're going to want to start an IS cycle in June. If not, it's probably in their best interest to just move the schedule up and give us the originally planned June light in April.

Yup. Not enough to have HG breathing down their necks, now let's add Disney to the list!

Well, they've already got (not!) Optimus Prime and something (not!) vaguely Zeonic, so it would not be surprising if there are other "Easter Egg" designs...

That, and The Bounty Hunter is already (not!) a Boba Fett expy...

You do not know how bad that I wish this was true. I even joined up with Mandalorean Mercs with plans to build my kit. Also you should add a flamer to the right arm.

........... awkward. Gotta find bigger guns than his dual blasters for a Heavy..... probably go 60 tons for maintaining mobility. Combine the attributes of a Quickdraw and a Merlin I reckon......

You could do MPLs for the pistols, a Gauss Rifle (to replace the missile on his jet pack) (2 tons ammo) in the right or left torso, then a MG (1 ton ammo) and SPL (wrist blaster and saberdart) on the left arm, a flamer for the right arm, 4 JJs, a 300xl, endo, and 11DHS. Minus the ballistic hardpoints it all fits on the Quickdraw.

I'm pretty sure this mech is going to be a FUN mech. Its humanoid with arms....and its gonna be the size of a locust!?

Doing a 160.....with the masc off. Looking like a gunslinger. It will practically be the closest thing to getting a elemental.

For hero....jump jets.
