Large selection of different variants and they're all equipped with Jump Jets. Including ECM and BAP variants. Six Energy HP's and two ballistic on the primary variant. It's a must have, imo. Wolfhound, Panther etc. are nice mechs, but the Firestarter fits perfectly to MWO.Give us our BBQ-Burninator!

do you have a link confirming this? havnt seen a dev post yet. (ive been around these forums awhile now, so no offense intended to you but I generaly don't believe most people on things like this unless they have a dev backing them)
Mostly going from a lore standpoint. Also, the first machines they ever write about the Inner Sphere going up against are all the 16 initial OmniMechs, the IS doesn't see a non OmniMech for a bit into the invasion as the Clans tend to keep them away from the front lines by using them for garrison forces or training.
We aren't likely to see anything non Omni for a while, but I'd say the Kraken is a neat looking one.

Yeah the original TRO art work was horrendous but some of the later stuff that I saw on Sarna was cool looking. I like the King Crab feel it has.

Also of note is that the MUL entry for the primary variant shows a blacked-out silhouette of the Reseen design, indicating that it is still considered Unseen by Catalyst (the current BT license holder).
Additionally, the third variant doesn't appear until 3054, so it would be some time befire the 'Mech was able to work under the current XP/unlock system.
As such, it seems unlikely that the Bane/Kraken would be showing up anytime soon... if ever.

Anyone think they might be actually hinting at a real 'mechs foot? It doesn't match any of the one's in game or any current concept art. Could very well just be a quick mock up, or a really advanced showing of a 'mech we might not see a reveal of for a while. It's also possible it could be like the Highlander teaser we got that per-announced Rhonda Snord's Highlander. (They kind of toyed with the Timber Wolf in today's Inner Sphere News....)
Maybe a Clan 'mech? Or just another Inner Sphere light/Medium?

That's all rather obvious, but it was a nice joke anyway. I was just originally digging to see if they were trying to hide something in plain sight though, and overlooked the one 'mech foot it actually was (what are the chances?)

Sorry I wasn't trying to come off snarky or rude.

Oh no, I wasn't either, just that I personally felt those little bits were obvious but Addridos had to point out that it was a Centurion leg...I had gotten so excited that we might be seeing a very in your face tease (but supposedly subtle) of a future 'mech design that I forgot to check the Cent's leg...the only 'mech I didn't look at to see if it was that.
Can't wait till 'Mech 20 is revealed and we get more info on CW.
