Here are some mechs that seriously need to be added in the game right now.

Recommended Battlemechs:
20 tons- Flea,Locust
75 tons- Orion
95 tons- Banshee

Locust is hitting next month, the Flea requires them to figure out M.A.S.s.c cause it deals heavily with netcode, Orion should be next month or October, and Cyclops is better candidate then the Banshee for next assault.

Wow! The artwork looks superb and the visuals resemble something you would see from an anime show.
You know, an MWO-based anime does sound pretty cool when you think about it.

It seems like the Light BattleMechs are a little "light" on Hero 'Mechs with only Death's Knell. I seriously hope PGI shows more love for this weight class. The Venom would be a cool choice for the next Hero...

Not enough variants, and it's really just another Spider at worst and at best, a Jenner.

except it's not a Spider, but a whole new chassis BASED on the Spider. It is actually being built right about now, but being 5 tons heavier than the Spider, it couldn't really be made into a Hero. And unfortunately there are not enough available variants to bring it in as a normal chassis yet, either.

The biggest issue, is that the only one of the currently released mechs with any listed "notable" pilots overall, is the Jenner, and they are avoiding the Founders mechs, for the moment. (Though there was the pilot for the Caballeros who piloted a Raven, though IDK if they are "notable" enough. *shrugs*)

What about these two light 'Mech options as the next Hero...

Firestarter - Mirage
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Firestarter

This variant of the Firestarter converts it from an incendiary 'Mech to a frontline 'Mech by removing the flamers and adding in their place two small lasers and three tons of armor. The Skye Rangers maintained several Mirages, including a lance with one arm painted black in commemoration.

Panther - Katana Kat
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Panther

Minobu Tetsuhara piloted his family's Panther nicknamed Katana Kat. He was a Mechwarrior in service of House Kurita and commanded the Wolf Dragoon Mercenary Unit Ryuken up until the climactic battle on Misery.

I would love the Panther, but have a feeling it would be bloody awful with it's ridiculous low speed. In Stock v Stock matches it would do OK, but against custom jobs? Sadly, I think it dies.

The Mirage would not be a Hero, so much as one of the available stock variants of the FS9. I would LOVE to see the Firestarter in game. And I do think it has a couple unique, bloodthirsty pilots listed in the TRO.

Minobu Tetsuhara piloted his family's Panther nicknamed Katana Kat. He was a Mechwarrior in service of House Kurita and commanded the Wolf Dragoon Mercenary Unit Ryuken up until the climactic battle on Misery.

Though, who is the current pilot (circa 3050) of the Katana Kat?

Minobu Tetsuhara died in 3028 (and is the only notable Panther pilot listed in TRO 3039).
Fuhito Tetsuhara only used the 'Mech early in his carrier, before switching to a ComStar-provided BattleMaster.
Katana Tormark (a descendant of Fuhito Tetsuhara) won't be born for another half-century.

Other references indicate that it remained in the possession of the Tetsuhara line (eventually passing to Katana Tormark), though the only other references of it being in service (including this one - which also shows an updated (but still MWO compatible) loadout) pertain to the 9th Sword of Light (not formed until 3075) and the Dragon's Fury (not formed until 3132).

So far, all of the Hero 'Mechs has been attributed to characters that are currently alive - so featuring Minobu himself as the Hero character for the Panther seems unlikely.
Additionally, neither Seylah Martinez nor Trevor Mygouhi (the notable Panther pilots listed in TRO 3050U) become notable until well-into the Jihad.

At that point, PGI could portray Fuhito Tetsuhara as returning to being the pilot of Katana Kat (perhaps with the build similar to that presented in the Abeda Measho MWDA dossier) after giving up the BattleMaster (he'd only be ~22 years older than in Wolves on the Border), or they would have to make up a younger member of the Tetsuhara family (or a family friend) to fill the role.

Thoughts?
