Friday it's not a day where things happen... unless they start bringing 2 mechs per month, I believe the Banshee (or a new light mech*) will be announced/released only in October.

*probably Firestarter, Mongoose or even UrbanMech.

Actually, I put the Steiner Sticker on it, as in "Proudly Made in the Lyran Commonwealth
I would have considered using a "Made in the "Capellan Confederation" sticker except ... oh yeah.... you guys can't manufacter an Assault Mech. How sad.

On topic. I wonder what the next announced heavy will be. Surprised the Grasshopper hasn't made the list of possibilities. Its got three variants by 3050. Grasshopper can be made into a Warhammer if one is willing to accept a smaller SRM launcher. I know it lacks the look, but HG is still rabid so make do right?

Thankfully this is but a game and there are no IS house exclusives so, if it comes around... I'll just buy it.

Around minute 26 there is a comment that makes it sound like we'll be able to simply replace our IS weapons with Clan weapons (i.e. the IS will get Clan weapons)... which means all of our weapons are basically worthless...

IMHO, it'd be good to campaign against this. If there are clan weapons on IS mechs - it should be limited to one hardpoint (i.e. a trophy weapon) - and not end up on all hardpoints.

Starting October, there will be no new surprises with mech releases. It's all already predetermined.

October - Locust
November - Shadowhawk
December - Thunderbolt
January - Battlemaster
February - Griffin
March - Wolverine

Or maybe February Wolverine, March Griffin.

So the next speculative mech would be for April 2014.

I will say this again, I suspect, the Saber mechs would be the last two inner sphere mechs we will see for a while, because 2014, expect to see Clan mechs finally coming into the game. I won't be surprised that PGi might offer preorders for a four mech Clan pack around or before Christmas, then release the pack for preorders only by early spring of 2014, with Cbill purchases of the first mech starting April 2014 (May 2014, if MASC is resolved and the Flea finally takes April 2014). This is going to be PGI's modus operandi. Then followed by more clan mechs, probably another 4 mech pack, unless PGI decides to release a two mech schedule with one clan mech, one IS mech each month, but I kind of feel they won't do releasing two mechs a month until Community Warfare is done, as they have to devote their resources to CW before a more taxing 2 mech a month schedule.

Aside from what I speculate might be 8 new Clan mechs next year, C or IIC (Clan tech variants) of existing mechs might also be introduced in parallel, without requiring a full mech of the month introduction. These will be "slipped in" to help boster Clan mech ranks. This means PGI can add a whole list of clan mechs using preexisting models, in an effort equivalent to adding new variants to exisitng mechs.

I've always wanted to see the Conjurer(aka Hellhound) in the game. It's really just a Wolverine IIC but with a name change. It's even one of the Victor Musical Industries Unseens (or Re-Seens).

Hate to shoot your ideas full of holes, Anjian, but all Project Phoenix items up to and including the Overlord pack deploy on October 15th. That includes all of the hero mech versions in one month. Saber Reinforcements all get added in December on the 17th. So no, it isn't taking till next march to include these machines and the next speculated mech has to be very soon.
