Nice art as usual Bishop, but I'd not like so much (beside the art behind that - it looks cool) that missile arm. I'd sticked to the Orion-like launcher, maybe it's too bulky, beautifully drawn but not so functional.

indeed. The original design still has it, as will the 6S render. The 6T and newer ones I went to the Box because Crow came up with the idea, and it seemed a good way to "overcome" the limitations of the original starfire lrm in fluff.

Excellent picture, as usual, I like the boxy arm but think I'd like the standard "club" arm more. I'd run some Zeus action if they gave me one, always a mech I liked quite a bit.

Odd... Thud, Orion, Zeus, I apparently like heavy mechs that ran 4/6, had one big 10 point gun and a LRM 15.

^ Drum launcher or nothing. The only box launcher was the LRM10 on the 6Y.

I like it too. I love how the missile doors work for it looking like a hand and when closed make a nice meat tenderizer style hammer to shove through someone's cockpit.

flattering, but I have no professional resume to wow the bean counters with. (Heck I still don't barely know how to make a resume, lol)

If this were what I call a "real" artist interview, my gallery WOULD be my resume.

That's how you do it though..... There's no "degree" better than a display of one's artwork. I'm no artist so not completely sure how it works, but I've written tons of resumes over my life and a single page with some arty examples should be a good start.

Come on, PGI knows the Bishop's work. It's all over the place.

(and it's being knocking the socks off everybody lately)

Oh let us not forget a certain someone placing 3rd in a recent contest, beating out Shimering Sword's design whose work was used by Catalyst. I think that that is proof in itself.

Wasn't Spooky trying to get a job as an official artist for CGL or PGI? (I cannot remember which)

I too like the solid core, but the claw launcher doors have some interesting potential... if they can be made robust enough to keep 80 tons of 'Mech from jamming them in place.

I have been a modeler for many years, trying to develop some self-produced games with another friend. I've now quit 3D modelling, I've never been capable to draw anything besides simple shapes and I deeply envy your skills, though I was able to "think" what I wanted to model and render it in 3D directly.

You should make an appliance, do it or I'll pit against you the whole FM
