If you can do fine in a Catapult then the Timber Wolf should be a piece of cake since it has arms to absorb some of the side torso damage. Just have to remember that she is not a brawler and I bet you will fall in love.

Yeah big opportunity lost there, way I see it PGI really dropped the ball on the whole first glimpse and contact with the Clans.

Could have had the whole community involved by putting drops like you were in the seat of Phelan Wolf!

As far as I know missile packs will be accounted as side torsoes..

with vs 2.0 they coulda even reused the Classy Urbanmech with minor mods. Shame I didn't think of this one during the contest.

So, according to NGNG Podcast #103: Bryan Ekman Part 3
they will do the clan pack mechs 1 per month
AND
during those 8 months they will also release a IS mech each month.
They will look at it during those 8 months and might stay with 2 mechs per month after it.

The mech part is starting around 32:30.
The Mauler is also mentioned. Concept art for it is being done right now.

Same here. Unless they totally reimagine it, it's gonna be BLOATED. pot belly, Massive Shoulder stacks. No XL for you! Meaning good luck doing anything useful with the ballistics. I could be wrong, but seriously, before people beg, have they even remotely thought about the hit boxes?
