the red one behind the Victor is an Urbanmech. One in the air is possibly a Falcon, but it's missing the right arm laser, so too generic to really call it. Far right, silhouette would work for a Clint. The gun armed one is interesting, because not counting extinct mechs, the 3039 era units did not have too many with that layout. I t appears we are seeing it's back, which rules out Warhammer, as the missile hump is the wrong side. It's possible it's an Orion......but highly unlikely.

Was your thread not enough promotion for it?
When i read "Best battlemaster ever" i was like: ok, what will it be?
Did he slap 7 ppcs on it OR is it one of those "nothing but flamers, mgs and SHS" threads.
I wonder when the last person that called his thread "best x" didn't post an intendedly bad build for "the giggles".
Seriously, if you don't want guys to know your thread contains a deliberately bad build, don't call it "best x ever" or something along those lines. Has been here countless times.
If you really want to suprise anyone, make the thread look like a serious question.

some people are just desperate for attention, and can't actually find a useful way to get it. I mean, we are in a world where the Kardashians not only have their own show, but make the covers of the big magazines. So I guess his post is just the MWO version of Kim K.

That's pretty impressive!
(I hope they round all IS weight classes in 10 mechs each)

I know there's a list somewhere, but if anyone has the number in their head - how many 'mechs are available in 3050 (and for MWO - three variants, bipedal, not Unseen, etc)?

Well, I don't think it's possible. This game runs on mechs - steady stream of new chassis & heroes is probably it's main source of income. As long as this game is F2P, we'll get at least one new mech every month.

(Because of it, I'm probably only person here that is actually happy that this game is F2P)

So, PGI is spinning it's collective wheels backwards on it's Clan C-Bill Release plan to follow a design that is less likely to lock out potentially abusive ballistics clan mechs behind a pay wall for months on end?
Good.

I am a flanker and I prefer medium & heavies for my mechs. I try to go 80kph+.
I use medium to long range weapons. And I try not play meta builds.

I used to play as a brawler in Atlases or Orions, relying on the AC/20 as the main weapon.
Now I prefer more mobile medium range builds (specially on the Victor) with dual AC/5s or single AC/10 paired with large lasers and multiple SRMs.

I prefer Flanker /Mobile Escort.
I prefer Medium Mechs like the ShadowHawk, kitted out for medium to short range combat, but with the ability to hit from afar. My standard SHD used a 280XL, 3 JJ, Near max armor, a UAC5, 2x Mlaser and 4x SSRM w/BAP. Don't need to go faster, because I ain't dumb enough to chase the squirrels. I do have the speed to stay with the team, and fight off any Lights that get adventurous, protecting my Big Fatties, and having the agility to 1v1 whatever else I encounter. My GRFs generally run a similar concept, even if the armament changes.
My outlier is the Ember, which I run as a high speed wrecking ball, kneecapping anything dumb enough to separate from the pack.
