This is because I woke up before the sun came up. ^_^
(beat that Strum!)

I think the AS7-S is a fedcom field refit upgrade, not Kurita.

Edit, also can safely dump any SLDF "Royal" models, as even Comstar has none, and in fact, little knowledge of them even, at this time. They are extinct outside the Clans.

Though if they want to use them as the genesis for the original "IIC" refits before the newer versions were engineered, I would be all for it.

I'd love to see the COM-1C, HBK-4N and CN9-AH.

Wonder if they're going to do a Clan Buster pack.

We'll see. By the hallo everybody!

I do not think we will every see a clan buster pack. But that is just my opinion. And if they release a new pack it will be something along the line of the saber pack, but for the clan pack we have now.

As Bishop noted, the AS7-S is a 3050 FedCom modification, not a Kuritian one.

Also, the SSRM launchers on the AS7-S are located in the Left Torso (and, in TT, are rear-firing); the rest of the armament is otherwise identical to the AS7-D (ML in each arm, 2 MLs in the CT, AC/20 in the RT, LRM-20 & SRM-6 in the LT).

complaints about Hunginn or about ECM? If its about ECM, the concern would be a ECM hero variant being called P2W. Not ECM variants for CBills.
I don't disagree that immunity to missiles should be removed from ECM. but i think Hunginn should have still gotten it.

About ECM. I agree Huginn should have gotten it, though.

ECM is way too strong currently, so they are having to dramatically limit it's use through variants, which is a horrible balancing method to say the least.

I still don't think they will release any new ECM variants, but if they do, it should be a heavy (CTF, for instance). I am SOOOOOO tired of chasing the lone ECM light around the map for ten minutes before we finally wing it...

Oops, my bad!
The Kurita one is the AS7-K... sorry.

It is.
And you are right about the horrible balancing method.

Next new 'Mech chassis they release will be 'Mech #30. I wonder if they will do something interesting for milestones like 'Mech #50 or such.

I updated the OP with a new Table for MWO mechs per faction.
Posted Image
The second Draconis Combine column is for Kurita A rated units (they have much more old Star League stuff).

This is a good reference for finding the most deployed mechs for each faction.

EDIT: forgot to mention: these are numbers for 3039.

I wonder how the break down of mechs will work when CW is working compared to your Chart Odanan, because some mechs like the Flea, Raven, and jenner look like rare mechs to see on a drop. compared to now where they are a common sight. was surprised to see that there are not that may Atlas floating around the IS compared to Stalkers which are very common.

This table feels a little off. Well, per tonnage class they make sense, yeah you would see many more Victors in the Fed Suns assaults, but how to they relate between the tonnage chassis in general. You're not going to see more Victors than Centurions surely.

For the AFFS with regard to Centurions & Victors, there is actually a very high chance that one probably would see significantly more of the former than the latter.

AFFS in 3050: ~77 'Mech regiments (down from ~87 in 3039)
AFFS 'Mech weight class distribution: 30% Light, 40% Medium, 20% Heavy, 10% Assault
(source: Faction Assignment & Rarity Tables, pg. 03)

We know that one regiment is 3-5 battalions & that one battalion is (usually) 36 'Mechs, so we can say that the AFFS had between 8316 and 13860 BattleMechs (not including allied mercenaries) in service as of 3050.
  • Of the AFFS 'Mechs, ~10% (~832 to ~1386 individual 'Mechs) are Assault 'Mechs, where ~23% (226 of 1000 translates to 22.6 of 100) of those Assault 'Mechs (~191 to ~319 individual 'Mechs) are Victors.
  • Of the AFFS 'Mechs, ~40% (~3326 to ~5544 individual 'Mechs) are Medium 'Mechs, where ~12% (118 of 1000 translates to 11.8 of 100) of those Medium 'Mechs (~399 to ~665 individual 'Mechs) are Centurions.
Thus, we can estimate that there are at most ~319 Victors in the AFFS, versus at least ~399 AFFS Centurions.

I really hope the devs take into account this table. Non-faction mechs should be at least more expensive.

But one thing I didn't include is the percentage of salvage mechs for each faction. Davion, has a 45 chance in 1000 of getting a mech from the Liao table and 25 for getting a mech from the Kurita table (for light mechs), for instance.

As these mechs are being refurbished and salvaged for the last 300 years, there is a chance, even if small, of anyone having any mech.

Yep, total Davion. Hopefully, it'll be one of the Variants released in the April 15th patch, this Tuesday.

Technically, total Steiner. -_- Davion has no facilities for constructing Atlases. The 7S is built on Hesperus II, by Defiance Industries. I'm sure you Daveys have coopted most of our shipments though.

That's OK, the BNC-5S is better anyhow. ^_^
