This table feels a little off. Well, per tonnage class they make sense, yeah you would see many more Victors in the Fed Suns assaults, but how to they relate between the tonnage chassis in general. You're not going to see more Victors than Centurions surely.
For the AFFS with regard to
Centurions &
Victors, there is actually a very high chance that one probably would see significantly more of the former than the latter.
AFFS in 3050: ~77 'Mech regiments (down from ~87 in 3039)
AFFS 'Mech weight class distribution: 30% Light, 40% Medium, 20% Heavy, 10% Assault
(source:
Faction Assignment & Rarity Tables, pg. 03)
We know that one
regiment is 3-5 battalions & that one
battalion is (usually) 36 'Mechs, so we can say that the AFFS had between 8316 and 13860 BattleMechs (not including allied mercenaries) in service as of 3050.
- Of the AFFS 'Mechs, ~10% (~832 to ~1386 individual 'Mechs) are Assault 'Mechs, where ~23% (226 of 1000 translates to 22.6 of 100) of those Assault 'Mechs (~191 to ~319 individual 'Mechs) are Victors.
- Of the AFFS 'Mechs, ~40% (~3326 to ~5544 individual 'Mechs) are Medium 'Mechs, where ~12% (118 of 1000 translates to 11.8 of 100) of those Medium 'Mechs (~399 to ~665 individual 'Mechs) are Centurions.
Thus, we can estimate that there are
at most ~319
Victors in the AFFS, versus
at least ~399 AFFS
Centurions.
