No offense to Alex - I love most of his stuff - but that is one UGLY mech...

To be fair that is one ugly mech (not Alex's picture) to work with so there was not much that Alex could do to make it pretty.

They're only available to Wolf's Dragoons, having gone utterly extinct in the Inner Sphere.

One more IS 55 tons mech? No, thanks. There are several other mediums to choose.

Besides, the Hoplite is a bad mech, with uniform (and few) variants and extremely rare.

Hoplite as a mech, is just plain bad, and short of massive hardpoint inflation, will always be a bad.

I don't want to see the Hoplite any more than you do, but if they can fix the Stalker - easily one of the ugliest mechs from TT, they can fix just about anything - that is my point.

I'd rather see the Cicada get visual weapons updates first before even considering the Hoplite.
