Not leaving us Speroids out in the Cold, we got a new Atlas variant AS7.

We also got the Return of the CN9-AH, returning from its forced retirement.

Finally, we got Confirmation of the King Crab. This was the big surprise, because while I did expect the new Inner Spere mech to be an Assault, I was betting on the Mauler(it was confirmed back in the Spring). This is exciting because it gives us a mech that we were not even sure we were getting, but it does mean we will have to wait on the Mauler(as well as ANY Assaults like the Cyclops,Zeus,Hatamoto-Chi,etc.). On the plus side, it does mean that next IS mech to be announced is likely to be a Heavy or Light(So you Urbanmech people still have hope.).

In the meantime, it does open up debate about whether the King Crab can be added to a "Clanbuster" team build.

It looks like Alex went with a classic look for the Mad Dog/Vulture redesign. As someone who loves the classic design I approve. I always hated the turret-chinned abomination from MW4. What little we can see of the legs from that picture also appears to avoid the chunkiness of the Mad Cat/Timberwolf's legs.

King Crab won't be in game till Dec 16th though... So I'm hoping we stand a chance of a couple new IS chassis aside from the King Crab between now and then.

YLW only got TSM with the 3050 upgrade for Kai, where MWO's YLW is the Solaris stomping 3025 version Justin piloted. I guess they could make them placeholder like the DDC's command console, but I doubt they'll ever have infantry which makes me wonder what they'll replace them with.

Well, flamers and MGs are mostly for infantry as well, so as long as APs lean more toward the MG effectiveness in MWO, APs should be useful. I actually like the additional ballistic slots (with MGs by default) that someone suggested earlier, though.

If implemented, it is more likely they create AP-hardpoints, because APs use to be in the legs (and MWO won't work with MGs in the legs).

KGC variants you are hoping for. Me I want the KGC-000, KGC-0000, and KGC-010 or KGC-000b. Introducing the KGC-001 might get a bit awkward. Then again, I might read this wrong and we get the hero version first.

- Viper (Dragonfly) - production year: 2940 (among the first Clan mechs encountered, was left behind by the Waves 1 and 2)

Heavy
- Ebon Jaguar(Cauldron-Born) - production year: 3049 (used by the Smoke Jaguars in the early invasion)

Assault
- Kingfisher - production year: 2887 (used by the Ghost Bears and Smoke Jaguars in the early invasion)

There just isn't too many mechs past 3050 that I like (there there are some out there). Most are just too organic looking for my taste.
