I think the arms on the MW4 version look pretty good, at least. The legs are mostly alright.

This is an intteresting turn of events, both the Ebon Jaguar and the Shadow Cat, are post 3050 in apperiance, I am very much looking forward to seeing what Alxe and company can do with them. Though this time, I may be a bit more cautious with buying a clan pack wave 3, after the slip pickings from wave 2....

-shrug- I expected more out of the Gargoyle to be honest, but the Mist and Ice, are about where I expected them to be.... Then again, I also expected MWO to see the advantage of having mix of lights/mediums/heavies/assualts all moving at the same pace, and working together....
That being said, the Gargoyle does decently on TT, when used in a ballanced Star....

no tonnage, no hardpoints, though, pretty obvious from get go.

True, but like I said, I expected more, guess I should have known better.... Then again I can see the uses for the Adder, and find it pretty good, dispite it's nickname of "Badder"...

They would to an extent, up until you realize that those -massive- pods it has are its side-torsos, as well.
In MW3 and MW4, the thing was damn-near unkillable unless focused fired upon. course though themore you removed from it, the faster its combat effectiveness approached 0.
However, the A, B and C variants of the Cauldron Born all have -very- dangerous loadouts to them by default. and if you mix-match parts that players are gonna use, you open options up to -all- kinds of worlds of hurt.

I always liked using the Alt A in TT, had one murder a Dire Wolf in a city once... got behind the Dire Wolf and gave it a double tap from behind, both hit CT, and it was over.

Haha, I did something similar in MW3 once. I can already imagine that, despite the Cauldron Born not having ECM, its high speed and low profile, with its firepower, will definitely be a sneak-attack master. That, or a really competent brawler.
course though you could just stick a Gauss Rifle and 2 or 3 ERPPC's on its side-torsos and use the arms as shields and hill-hump...Or stick 4 LRM 10's on it...But those are boring. I wanna get up close and personal

Well if they do it right, the Ebon Jaguar, should not be able to hill hump, she should be too short. That and I'd love it if they could get a crouching mechanic like they had in MW 3, gave her a really low profile... could be useful for the Bushwacker too...

Haha, too right. It would really need to expose itself to fire because of how low to the ground it will be. Some people may say it wont be "meta viable" because of all of that, but to me, I think of it as a "point defense' machine, like how I like to use my Nova with its 12 SPL's.
But man...Just think, UAC20, 4ERML's and 3MPL's. A machine like that in MWO is just...dear god.

Well in all fairness, it was my Timber Wolf D build that got me the Jonny 5 and Creaping Death achivements in the same game....
Did it on Forest colony, just stayed out of seight, and murdered things from behind... not a lot of things like dual cERPPC's and 4xcSRM6 to the back.
