The thing is up until the Trenchbucket's (Yes i called it that) concept release... there was an order to the releases... light, medium, heavy, assault. But after the release of the Stalker (assault) we got the Trebuchet (medium) and skipping the lights altogether. Either the next light will be a very rare light mech that they wanted to hold back a bit longer or they just decided to not go with an order any longer. There are 2 really good lights that come to mind and that is the Wolfhound and or the Mongoose but i dont see either of them being that mech worthy enough to hold back and skip to give us a new medium. So... im going to hope and pray that the next light will be an Unseen.

The Commando is being piloted for good portions of the video. it says what mech you're driving in the lower left so you can see commando there quite a bit, also it has a pretty distinct cockpit. don't know where the treb was though, I believe that may be misinformation

With any luck PGI and/or Jordan have made Harmony Gold an offer they can't refuse and the entire management of Harmony Gold are now sleeping at the bottom of San Francisco Bay have reached an amicable and fair settlement with Harmony Gold to allow the use of the Unseen in North America. They keep hinting that they're getting close to something and a Japanese court has ruled already that Harmony Gold has no legal grounds to control the intellectual property anyway.

Just a note: popularity has nothing to do with what they're releasing. If it were based on popularity, every launch 'mech would be an Unseen or Clan 'mech. So yeah, no Wolfhounds, Urbies or Panthers -- not enough 3049 variants for sale.

Since the last two were lights and medium I expect a heavy or assault class. Probably a heavy. I think an Orion would be cool

isn't the chameleon one of the Unseen? if its not it ought to be, because its very obvious where they got that design

I really want to see the re-seen mechs. Shadow Hawk, Phoenix Hawk, Battlemaster, Rifleman, Warhammer etc... that would be incredibly epic.

It's not.

About it showing in the game, I don't know... all the (few) variants are basically the same (except that the primary has ballistic slots in center).

Chameleon is not unseen, was introduced in the quickplay rules when "battleoid" became Battletech. That being said.. they could also add the merlin. It was used in the same boxed as a example of mech construction.

My bad. Reading the Victor variants I think maybe it won't be in the game for some time. But here are my definitive predictions:

This 4th of July we will have one of the following mechs announced:

Blackjack (medium), Firestarter (light), Orion (heavy), Cyclops or Banshee (assault)

Yes, Hermes II would be a great scout. It would be unlikely to be in the game if it had few variations though... but it looks the list made by Riin Suu is not accurate: there is at least one more the possible variant, the HER-2M.
