[CK16]

So....I want the Fire Moth now.....That thing could be a nasty mech for sure....Can you imagine Locust but with ability to bring almost any meta weapon! O.o

I will do the Fire Falcon Spread sheet, could use some art work....And some who has some time (kinda busy with helping a friend on her WoT blog atm...) to type a post for the "Fire Flight" package! PLEASE

Even if it is released without MASC, it would be a fun mech to have. Could use the free tonnage, too, since it comes with only 2 out of 4 tons of armor.

Due to volumetric scaling, and being so torso chunky, I would expect it to be a tiny looking 25 ton mech, too!

A combo of the H LA, D RT & B RA would likely be the meta for a 20t mech, 6CSpulse.

Or just a Pirate's Bane clone with the Prime LA, Bravo RA, and Delta RT, so you can get 4x ERSLas, 2 MG, and an ECM.

Someone needs to collect all this stuff, and write a thread spreading the word lol.

Also consider that one of the variants E through K could be made into the 5th and assigned the P varriant. Not sure which one though of them would be worth it. E Seems like a nope with only 1 ATM 6 or something like that.

Like they cried P2W with the Pirate's Bane being ECM capable? At the end of the day, the Fire Moth would still only be 20t, not high enough to get bent out of shape over.

Though, I imagine that the FOTM build would likely be "Hero's arms + C's side torsos" for a 6E/4B build, with CT to taste; it yields builds similar to those popular with the Ember, and avoids heat scaling issues (as heat scaling is triggered when 7 of the small or medium Clan energy weapons are used together).

With the Dragonfly's relatively meager pod space (8.5 tons at start)... lots of 6 ERSLas + 4 MG builds running around once the 'Mech is released?

The variants are pretty solid. And the high mount arms would be refreshing in the Clan stables.

But the problem with the Rifleman IIC is: it has only 2 variants with our current tech. Oh well, probably PGI will save it for after the time jump.

I can see people running it 7 lasers, 6 lasers + 3 SRMs, 6 lasers + 3 MGs or big ballistics + lasers. Because of the huge 390 engine, there is not much weight left for guns (only 16.5, with armor full), but at least there is a lot of room for heat sinks (and locked 14 DHS inside the engine). At least it's fast and will probably have an interesting low profile (and some good torso high-mount hardpoints).
