I don't even care that much which 3025-era 'mech. Crusader I'd love, also Stinger/Wasp. Dervish, Javelin both nice, and ANY of the several missing 40-tonners from 3025 I'd like. Charger I agree would be fun, and reasonably different as far as assaults go. And there's a macabre interest because you KNOW some lorehound will be running the base variant in the stock loadout.

isn't part of the meta cramming huge engines and small lasers on assault mechs? See the Charger was just ahead of it's time!

I think PGI should go full troll and put an STD-400 in one of the supply caches. I see they already have a Vindicator in one.

Well, with the Night Gyr coming out next month, there is no real need for the Nova Cat IMO.

NTG-A: Left Arm - 3 energy (3 ER Large Lasers)
NTG-JK: Right Arm - 2 energy (2 ER PPCs)

Well, the "classic" Clan mechs are pretty over right now... (maybe only the Warhammer IIC and Rifleman IIC remain).

Right, the Warhammer IICs that came with the Wolf's Dragoons, how could I forget.

My point was that if PGI is milking the HBS crowd as Imperius claims, then they're doing a pretty bad job of it -- none of their last 5 'mechs are going to be featured in the HBS game.

That we know of, they have been hinting about adding other mechs, like the Black Knight and Cyclops...

Yes, but the wave of Clan Mechs are only going to be IF (a very likely if) there is an expansion, which would probably be the third one. So aside from the Cyclops and Hawk, they've not exactly been catering to HBS the last half year or so.

Depending on the source you read, they either had cutting edge clan tech stashed away on Outreach or not....
