This is true but I'm talking about I'm glad I don't have to crusade anymore.

Also once I see it the second time that's that. So all I can do is hope they changes I wanted made the cut.

I can agree with everything but the Black Lanner.... In it's place I'd love to see the mothballed Coyotl, it's basically a perfect 40t omni for the Clans.

Blood Asp, Raptor, and the Rifleman will be cool. Surprised I don't see a Fanir or Stupid me Rhino in there. ;)

Depends on the performance of the Mk. II in game I think... if it handles like a Dire Wolf I can see you flipping some tables with piles of salt on the boards... but if it handles slightly worse than a MAD-IIC I can see you being okay with it.

I like the Fafnir, but I'm not a very MW4 guy. Anyway, it will probably come to MWO this year, along with other very distinct MW4 designs (Osiris is a most certain bet).

Stone Rhino... I don't like it much. It must be because of the horrible hitboxes it had in MW2 (the mech was really huge there).

It should be freakin' huge! It was originally based off of the Matar a super heavy....

I'm just waiting for the veritable tsunami of salt that will come when Civil War comes. I'm expecting it to be pretty similar to those who were so expectantly awaiting the reign of the Supernova, only to be let down. In the meantime, I continue to point out that it is, and will continue to be, a very bad idea to keep asking for all these skinny humanoid mechs until something is done about Volumetric Scaling.

Volumetric Scaling ain't going anywhere.

Some of us run Humanoid mechs just fine. It's called "learning to twist". As such, I'll continue to hope for whatever mechs I like, irregardless of being humanoid of not.

Can tell you right now, the "Chicken Walker" Uziel will have worse geometry/hitboxes and survivability, sans Quirks than my terribad "Humanoid" Centurions or Hunchback. And massively worse than my Griffin or Shadowhawk. Or even my Assassin.

Not just the hit boxes are going to do in the Uziel, it's the low mounted cockpit and sky high Balistic mounts in the shoulders (not to mention the missile launcher that is even higher)...

Me, I'm happy with the new skill tree, just have to actually log in and explore it, but now I can ditch a lot of mechs I just don't enjoy and keep the ones I want to keep thanks to the gutting of the rule of 3... Hell I can now ever get some that I've thought about, but didn't due to not wanting other variants... like the Shadowhawk 2D2 Or maybe Grey Death....

the 2D2 is still my fave shad. Not really had the GD click for me as well. Hoping NewTech will add a few options. like RAC5 and 4x ERSLs, etc.

I've been toying with this build for a 2D2, when I finally get around to getting one:

I'm just not sure on keeping the SRM/4+ammo vs taking more AC/10 ammo and a bigger engine...

Well, with the Offensive De-Quirkening, I am curious how things stand. My 2D2 is this

Which is how I ran it since the Phoenix Pack dropped. Admittedly, post Clan Invasion, it's performance dropped precipitously, what with all the quirks use to compensate...and the fact SHDs were once meta keeping them from ever getting any decent quirks.
SHD-2D2
But I've been debating going to straight SRM2s, for higher rate of fire, and concentrated damage, and pairing it with a RAC5 and then maybe SPLs in place of the MLs. Chainfire the SRM2s and make it a really annoying DPS harasser, since the RAC5 will certainly require facetime anyhow.
SHD-2D2
trade the UAC5 for a RAC5, and then figure out the last ton after.
