John the Baptist comes FIRST.... silly rabbit.
And Assaults are boring as heck. (IMO). We need a GOOD IS 60 Tonner and since they keep skipping adding Grand Dragons as Loyalty rewards, that leaves Argus or Lancelot... and I know which one I vote for.

Highly unlikely given that we already have a medium coming up with the Hellspawn.
Given the popularity from the poll, I guess it would either be (light) Hollander / Owens / Wasp or (heavy) Crusader / Avatar / Argus.

I know, i know..
I meant that IF we're getting a 40 tonner (which is unlikely) i would prefer the Vulcan over the Chimera.
I could also go for a Hermes/Hermes II double pack.
(literally anything 3025 is OK in my book)

Well if we're talking about quality it's between the Lancelot & Anvil but the Argus has interesting hardpoints. The Blackhawk Ku would be fun and also the best IS heavy omni.
The Lancelot would probably obsolete the Rifleman unless quirked. The Anvil would be great in a brawl or at long range and the BH Ku is obviously boating Mlas or domething similar.

We almost certainly won't see anymore classic era mechs until MW5 launches.

Anvil torso makes the Thanatos look hitbox friendly.

There are indeed still some interesting units left in TRO:3025, like the Charger or the Vulcan. Overall however the era is pretty well covered.
I for one would like to see more Star League designs, especially as they were used (and upgraded!) a lot during the FCCW-era.

I personally would like the Black Hawk most, but the Lancelot has many diverse variants, good geometry and hardpoints. Also, both have JJ, which I really want in my next 60 ton Mech.

The mass is better distributed; the STs are far less vulnerable and can be better protected. Depending on the actual hitboxes it might be that the CT can be hit from the sides, but even then the hitboxes are a lot better than those of the Thanatos.
The only other Mech that can compete for the title of the Mech with the worst hitboxes is the Uziel. (Ah, the joys of MW:4-originals!)

The Wasp should be sold along with the Stinger since there not much variety going on with their load outs. Not really too sure how PGI will handle these two mechs unless they did something unique with them, as in one mech spawns in right after the other is defeated in a skirmish. That would be neat.
Crusader is definitely a worthy edition to MW:O. I better see a "Deus Vult" hero loaded with Templar and Hospitaller decals on it or I will be extremely disappointed. Same thing goes for the Templar if we ever got that in game.
I'm kinda neutral towards the Longbow and Charger but they have a spot for MW:O. Just for the sole fact that they are classic battletech mechs that should have been in the game awhile ago. Judging by these black friday and cyber monday deals, I personally wouldn't be surprised if PGI decides to release another highly desirable mechpack for the beginning of December. I personally hope it's a Origins IIC Wave 2 pack announcement, since I have a gut feeling that mid to late 2018 will be IS omnimech spam.

Well the NAIS Longbow would be pretty nais... it also has a touch of MW4 value (cue FLG cringing).
Since we just got the Pirahna & Blanner back to back I'm pretty certain it'll be something IS next.

Nah, if a Mech has a life outside MW:4 (i.e. in actual BT lore) I have no problem with it. And the Longbow is a classic, and it was a classic long before MW:4.
It's just that I don't have any special feelings for it. Not my kind of Mech.
And I must say I don't look forward to an influx of LRM assaults in game...

But if they added the NAIS variant we'd see plenty of ballistic boats... There's also some that'd be better as Mrm or srm bombers, even laser with a little missile

Releasing them now steals too much potential thunder and shinies for the MW5 game. I expect once that launches, only then will we start seeing those assets released HERE, since it will take advantage of the excitement around the new toys, whereas right now we will continue to see MW4 era mechs which take advantage of the current hotness of high tech.
That's just basic marketing. If PGI doesn't do it that way, to be blunt, they are fools.

That makes a lot of sense.
Heck, these mechs could even come as some sort of bonus for MW5 preorders.
