The Remnant has signed a 14-day contract with Clan Smoke Jaguar and we're having a blast so far. Looking forward to more fights with you guys.

How quick you are to decide what 228 is capable of. I had the pleasure of dropping with Prussian Havoc for three hours last night on the planet Pesht where we took and defended sectors together along with a small group of SJR members until our numbers dwindled to the point that a drop deck could not be made.
You do not need to add us to any roster, we will up hold any previous agreements within the faction.

Not to exclude the relationship between.

My point of view.

Im still against, and sick of those units constantly changing their affiliations according to faction and individual unit's successes. Not interested in any colaboration. Thanks anyway.

However, even i know that seeing everything black&white is never good. From what i heard and i still hear (no direct experience) the 228th IBR is a honorable unit, respecting ceasefires and alliances.

If this is indeed the case, you are lucky. -MS- or CI could have joined CSJ..

The actions of units and individuals are what make them, not their merc status IMHO :)

Clan Wolf intelligence, always behind the times and mostly speculative.

Various contacts explained that they broke agreements with Davion and lost friends there as a result.

I just read some forums posts a while ago. If this is true, good luck with them..

Noesis, we never signed under Davion. We only fought Davion under the Kurita banner (and they're at war), and once as Steiner to preserve the ceasefire line against a rogue unit's attacks. But nice try.

And yet while you are here, you have done nothing but promote attacks and support those who lead attacks on our ally who we have had a long standing ceasefire with. Must be interesting to be that hypocritical.

Mechwarrior Von Blumen, I would like to see where this "support" against your ally is?

Last night, 228th supported CJF on Waldorff defense.
Last night, 228th supported CGB on Hermagor defense.
Last night, 228th supported CSJ on the capture of Pesht and the assault on Itabaiana.

Even dropped with a group of JGx guys on the planet Itabaiana late in the night.

Once again it would seem the members of CSJ are quick to make assumptions, rather than provide facts.

Really well the Davions say otherwise in terms of not following an agreement with your directions previously and are in fact not impressed with your unit or consider you to be trusted. Free intel for you then. ;)

Gents,

I mentioned 228th acting in concert with QQ due to a false initial report from someone in the wee hours. I apologized to QB for the oversight earlier in this thread for the mistake. Somehow, like a misquoted Russ Bullock tweet, this has turned into angry back and forth that isn't necessary or valuable to the CSJ and greater MWO community.

There's no need to jump on the hater-ade bandwagon here regardless.

QQ is playing within the rules of the game, and I should not have violated the spirit of neutrality by not adding them to the list initially, which I'll do later. Their motives shouldn't be material to the thread, whether they're a strawhorse or legitimate CSJ aligned faction.

I just ask that folks argue the merits of QQ's efforts vice those not supporting their efforts in another thread. I've already asked the mods to come in here and restore the thread to it's previous point as a neutral resource.

DERP will most likely be switching to a permanent contract upon renewal. None so far have voiced opposition to this decision, however will confirm when majority approval has been determined.

I recently converted from IS to the Clans. I was with SROT for 2 years as a Steiner. I joined CWDG for two weeks (CWDG are in deep trouble, they have no leadership, and lack some basic tactics and strategy. All the wolf groups are highly polarized, no common goals, which means they are vulnerable to feinting attacks).

What you see now from Wolf Clan is what you will see when CW is not in beta. Poor Sean Lang ...its his favorite faction.

Finally, after 2 days I was able to join the CSJ faction. I played this weekend and kept a list of all the CSJ groups. I earned 10 million C bills just on sunday after 8 hrs.

I have not googled every group for their name as its going to take a little bit to decide which group I want to join. But let me share my list

CPC
SCL
SJR
FAME
T3S
BHH
(BR)
NNM
-RW-
42LB
FUQY
CHHi
MZKS
(-)
For example [(-)] slahne is a member of the CSJ faction
BoBs
For example BoBs CharlieTBO is a member of the CSJ faction

Just a heads up, a couple of those you have listed off the top of my head are short term CSJ and maybe leaving as soon as you join. *if you are looking to stay CSJ* If so you may want to refer to the perma contracted units listed, also jump into comms on Strana as that hub supports the most active units.

Thanks for the pointer to Strana. I'll have to check it out. I'm hoping to join a jag group that uses their own teamspeak server not one that's available to the masses.

I know of one IS spy and one clan wolf spy that has intentionally joined another faction to learn how they play CW. When it comes to intelligence I kept an extensive dossier and documented many different groups strategies. I even documented every match In the First MWO Tournament. Way too many Meta heads concentrate on builds and forget what I think is the most important aspect of the game....strategy. There's a reason why you don't let everyone see your playbook.

I think most of us have our own servers, however find no need to be there. But units worth their salt are in Strana as it would only take a night of dropping to see why. People flip channels to communicate with people in their drops like clockwork.

But we know who is doing what and how they are doing it, rest assured.

I think the most fun i had was dropping with the 267 unit of CSJ and the 228 people i have come to know here and there, CSJ has been my home for almost two months and i have no regrets, welcome to what the clans should be. To those i have made friends and those for the future.

Nobody is changing affiliations according to a factions success, they join a faction because of there lack of success. PGI changes the payday and LP boost of factions based upon how badly they are getting there butts kicked. Mercs are attracted to the money and LP boosts they get (like mercs are suppose to be) which works in the games favor because it rebalanced the game by reinforcing a faction who is losing CW with extra units.

228 for example since contracting with CSJ has taken 4 planets for you as well as defended CSJ planets. I hardly see the problem here?

Lol. Feel free to think that we need an average merc unit to take territories for "us". I dare you.
