why is this game such a grind ... i grinded 3 days just to get 5M ... there are atleast a 100 mechs in the game and for every mech i need to grind a week ... and if u want to "elite" your mech u need to buy 3 same/similar mechs ... its just killing the fun had prem for 1 day and it wasnt worth it ... only 130K- 200k per game

any1 got any ideas on how to get more c-bills? cuz only 100000 avg is just to little ... atleast for me

its a free-to-play game. they all have grinds. if you want to short-cut that, buy some premium time and/or a hero mech.

It's not nearly so boring if you pay the devs for their efforts.

its borring to play 1 mech over and over and over again

even the cheap mech are just noth worth it cuz u need to spend atleast 5M just to upgrade it to a playable state

um i dont want that ... just dont want to play the same mech for 3 days just to get 5 M...and then repeat just to get the second version of the same mech and grind again for 2 weeks just to get the third SAME mech

Max of 25 gifts per game mode, you'll have the required match score in 9/10 games you've played over the last week, it's only there to prevent afk grinding.

If you where only gettin 130-200k with premium time you need to practice more. I get that without premium time, with 200-300k with premium time. I've bought 9 mechs in the last week and mastered 6 of them. But yes, the grind is painful.

did 500- 1000 dmg ... the teams im getting are the problem

A mech bay is 300 MC, but they go on sale for 150 sometimes.

I guess colors are too expensive at 500, they're also 50% off sometimes.

Could get some "one shot" camo specs, some are only 75, cant move them from mech to mech or switch them, but they're cheap.

New account, 29 games in trial mechs (lights and mediums only) with free holiday premium time, cadet bonus, and tournament rewards -> just over 12.5M c-bills banked for just under 3.5 hours playing time.

12.5M in 3.5 hours seems pretty good to me, but with cadet bonus gone and the premium time and tournament ended in a few days, the regular income would be a lot less. I'm honestly not sure what to make of that as far as a reflection of the overall economy in MWO. I figure they want to make it slow enough to encourage people to spend real money buying mechs, but not so slow that people just quit out of frustration and boredom. (Doesn't matter for me since that's a third account I made on a lark and for testing, not sure I'll really play it much anyway, but it's been an interesting experiment so far.)

Unfortunately this has been a topic of debate for a long time and it only seems to be getting worse. My suggestion would be to send private messages to the devs and e-mails to explain your frustrations. Posting about this here on the forums about this topic is not likely to have an effect one way or another as there are groups on both sides of the debate that are pretty unlikely to be persuaded to the other view point. Expect a lot of hyperbole from both sides to be thrown around with no small amount of condescension. DaZur's post being a good example.
