BLK-NT-2Y
Another Dark Age version of the Black Knight, the -2Y is equipped with an XL Engine that drives it to 54km/h. The weight freed by the XL engine is used to add a Beagle Active Probe, Guardian ECM Suite, and C3 Slave unit. It has thirteen and a half tons of armor to protect an Endo-Composite skeleton. It is also equipped with a Targeting Computer, and a Medium Shield is carried on the right arm. Offensively, it mounts a PPC, two large lasers, and three medium lasers. All equipment is of Inner Sphere quality. BV (2.0)=1,847[17][18]
Sure its from dark age. no reason this cant be a current model for an ecm BK
Can We (Is) Get A Heavy With Ecm.. Please

only by the calssification of 80tons = assault, by the rets of chatracteristics is a fat heavy with medium firepower.
and what is a classification of a mech based on then, hmm?
Can I say the urbanmech is an assault because of it's speed?
Or that it's a medium or transition heavy because of it's firepower?
Or a light due to it's armour...

... 20tons to 35 tons are lights.
40 tons to 55 tons are mediums
60 to 75 are heavies
and 80 to 100 are assaults. It's even in the damn game specifying the differing tonnage classifications.
Edit: not directed at you. it's @

I'd need a new change of underwear if PGI ever announced the Blood Asp. Unpractical for CW but who cares!
You kidding?
2 gauss rifles above anything. You can expose only 5% of your mech and deal 30 pinpoint.... with minimal exposure.
Not to mention a boat load of support energy weapons...
The thing is all mehcs not in game yet (Couldron born, shadowcat, etc) or are later on for clans are much better then what we have.

The Wolverine would be ideal here. Aside from the Wubverine (which is going away now), the Wolverine is generally under appreciated. Lore remarks that it has excellent electronics systems, which makes it a prize despite the cramped head space. For MWO's purposes, it is nimbler (but softer) than the Atlas, while still being tougher (but slower) than the Cicada and the IS light ECMs. While it and the Cicada are technically both mediums, they're at rather opposite ends of the scale, the Cicada just barely heavy enough to count, and the Wolverine just barely light enough to count. They'd fill the gap nicely.
For the Clan players reading this, it's not so much that I want the Inner Sphere to have an ECM heavy 'Mech, it's that I want both factions to have some diversity above 40 tons. For the Inner Sphere, if you want to use ECM, it's a light 'Mech, a medium that plays like a light 'Mech, a big huge gap, then the Atlas at 100 tons. For the Clans, it's the Mist Lynx, the Kit Fox, a big gap to the Hellbringer, and nothing else. I know PGI are concerned that they don't want too much ECM locking down the game, but at the moment, it's just forcing people into playing a few select 'Mechs and diminishing the diversity on the field.

Blood asp STILL has less exposure for the 2 gauss rifles AND is a heavier mech thus more firepower can go behind that mech then just 2 gauss...
like 2 Gauss and more then that firepower for support... (same reason people still run 2 gauss rifle on a king crab even though jager is faster and 'better' for it... because you do not have these cool missiles and lasers to help you out)
