The Pirates Bane mech has 2 mg's that when used practically blind your own pilot.

It needs to be turned down a whole lot. Even without night vision if you just zoom in maximum that flash is painful. I don't have epilepsy but I feel like it when I pilot it. thankfully the small lasers don't blind me, just my enemies!

I haven't noticed any problem with it. I mean, it's there, and it washes out the bottom 3rd of your screen, but so what? If you're firing at someone they're well out of the obscured range.

I'm not sure why it hasn't been fixed. I can't recommend running MGs on it with how bad the flash is. It's seizure level bad.

I THINK THAT'S THE ENEMY I'M SHOOTING!

Turn down Particles and it isn't as bad.

Muzzle flash SHOULD be blinding with night vision. Proper protocol is to line up the target, close eyes and squeeze trigger.

Look at the screenshots above, those aren't using NV

I agree it should be blinding with nv but come on no other mech has this problem.

Blinding with night vision? fine. Blinding in regular vision? Hell no! I'm afraid PGI is going to get a lawsuit because this mech doesn't have a seizure warning.

Gentlemen, you are firing what can very well be a rapid fire 20 or 30mm cannon between your crotch...the flashes is likely a lot easier and nicer on you than the blinding smoke that ought to be wafting over your cockpit.

Don't defend this seizure inducing effect. It hurts to see it. it should be a lot less extreme. especially since its so rapid fire.

Ok, let's crash your FPS with smaller flash and an ever present, undulating cloud of smoke to really blind you instead. No one ever gets seizures from muzzle smoke.
