Not true! Because nobody besides me seems to like the Mackie :D

Unbelievable. You logged the IPs? Theese, Sir, are no TRUE BattleTech-Fans. Must be QuakeMech/MechQuake-Fanboys. Seems we have traitors in our ranks. Should send a DEST immediately! ;)

Hehe. I understand the reasons against spending time and money modeling the Mackie. But I do doubt the opinion of any so-called fan who doesn't want that 100-ton hunk-of-junk in their 'Mech garage ;)

Even if it's only for novelty

I want one to pain silver and green, with Heiniken on the the outside of it. Add jump jets and call it's death from above a "Keg Stand."

It wasn't that long, I have seen game companies do worse. At least the questions didn't repeat themselves five times.

Would you rather a shorter, uninclusive survey that only manages to convey to the developers "Hurr clan mechs are better than Spheroids wat do"?

Survey: 39 minutes on average, though some people have gotten it in as low as 20 minutes.

If your time is so valuable that you can't spare 20-40 minutes from your 1,440-minute-long day, you're completely free to abstain from taking the survey and spend those minutes on some other community project.

Yeah mackie's should be in a museum, so I voted that way. Though if your in a urban map and theres a museum and if you peak inside, you should see a mackie. Also voted no to really rare old star league era mechs only com star would have .

Oh, I don't know.

I think that if there was some way to make certain 'Mechs rarer than others, certain 'Mechs would make incredibly awesome 'vanity' items. Or collector items. I want to go around, getting a Solaris VII 'Mech stable of only Mackies!

Imagine if there were, like, 500 Mackies in the game. Total. Want one? Kill someone who has it, salvage the 'Mech. Or leave it on the battlefield for the next soldiers there to salvage. Or not salvaging it puts it on the weekly "Black Market" listings for rare 'Mechs.

Or the Phoenix Hawk "Special". Extremely rare and powerful Star League Royal 'Mech--but there's a limited quantity, so finding an enemy with one is both a terrifying moment, and a moment that gets your salvagelust boiling.

EDIT: DAMN YOU CENSORS!

We're at 175 guys, keep up the good work!

Make sure you're spreading the word about this survey to as many people as possible.

...one of the reasons I want more respondents is there's one question that people are actually answering exactly evenly divided between all the choices. Like, 33%, 33%, 33%. It's creepy. More respondents will resolve this problem, hopefully! ;)

Don't worry Mr. Smiles, everyone that joins the MW:LL TS3 I yell at them to take the survey even if not members of MW:O... also thank god you had the Thorn as a mech option for lights, this makes me happy... as for data, how many people voted no for the Thorn if you are able to say? (just curious about how many boxes of 7.62x54 I may need to buy later today :) )

We're a fractured community - there are three distinct groups of players here: MechWarriors, MPBT'ers, and Table Top Gamers. All have different opinions that are pretty polarized on what should be featured in the game.

All I'll say is the Thorn is a contender for least-wanted 'Mech in the Light Inner Sphere category :)

We're somewhat fractured, but in no other question are we terribly polarized. Some of those groups you mention appear to be either a) too impatient to fill out a survey or B) a very, very vocal minority.

In any case, a perfect 33% split between three options is just unheard of! Even with a polarized community!

'When It's Done' :P

When I feel the respondents either a) are plentiful enough that I don't need any more to have a valid analysis or B) they're only trickling in so slowly that however many dozen left there are don't even matter.

But while there are certainly less survey respondents today than yesterday, I think I can get quite a few more by repeatedly bumping this thread via responding to questions :P

I nominate that the full-clan listing stays in there though so we can all unanimously rape NO.

Except, you would have to be even remotely in the majority to have a unanimous vote.
