I do not want the PPC to be the best big gun for the UM, it's just hard for it not to be, so I'm all for any quirks that avoid the PPC being an optimal choice.

odd...my 106 kph CN9-D has a 40% cooldown on IT'S autocannon.

While moving 3 times faster and having nearly twice the armor.

Yeah...so now a PPC does 7.5 dmg to it, instead of 10. So it takes what, 2 shots for a TDR-9S to take ti's leg off, instead of one? (all of 2.3 seconds apart....during which time the Urbie has waddled.... 10 meters?)

I dunno.
AC quirks are a given.
Small laser range. (maybe faster cooldown too)

But I all I know is that I want that torso twist speed to twist so damn fast. Maybe add a "charge" up mechanic too, so the longer you torso twist continually, the faster it gains speed indefinitely.

if they succeed in geting the AC10 UM some what viable it will be so mutch fun to guard your assault lance in it vs lights.

The ultimate quirk:
Urbanmech cannot be destroyed by leg damage, its movement is reduced to zero, but it can continue to fire.
Other than that, small laser and AC10 quirks.

I'm for the Damage Reduction a la the old missile doors. Either that or 10 or more points of "invisible, unmovable" armor like on the Hunchback's hump, but everywhere.

only one weapon needs quirked...and it's "canon", too

Small Laser:
Range x 1000%
Damage x20
Cooldown 200%
Heat Reduction 50%

And done.
