If you are just looking to play, Pick a side with "almost" 12 players or factor of 12.
I grind C-bills too but have no problem switching to Nightmare for a few drops with my friends.
If they are sick of PreMade Stomps are they sick of PUGStomps as well. Last 2 days in PUG I've won 2 of 25 matches and died in almost all of them. with 1 kill. About as balanced as CW has been for me. ;)

I've won 5/6 matches solo dropping in the last two days. 2/3 This morning, and the one we lost had some douchecanoe teamkilling right off of the bat, which makes defense difficult.

None of those games had more than a 4 man on my side.

You've done better than I have then. Still only one win in CW. Haven't found the right way to fight yet, and I'm not interested in it being made easier to win. Our team EARNED that one win. That's worth 20 "balanced" wins in my book.

Half of it is abusing over quirked mechs, the other half is tactics.

I was in one of the larger, more successful Units. I left it two nights ago. Why? Enormous, epeen-stroking t__ds. If, in a drop with less than a full 12 man, a "pug" didn't follow the instructions of one of those huge epeen-strokers, they TEAMKILLED him. And I have watched and participated in countless spawn camps because killing 48 is somehow important, regardless of how their opponents feel.

Success, and constant success, seem to do something ~not good~ to humans. I would rather play with fumblers than be part of that kind of team. And, sooner or later, if they are successful they all tend to end up like that - a group of people you would do almost anything not to be associated with if you have any sense of compassion or honor.

I will stick to pugs, thank you very much. And, when I've had sufficient pain from trying to keep this franchise afloat, I will leave. This game epitomizes the adage 'No good deed goes unpunished.' Tolerance for punishment is all that most non-douche players are left with. PUG or "casual", whatever they may be.

Sounds like you just got in a bad group Z. The Law is still a great group of players. Disheartened with MW:O for teh most part, but that is more do to boredom of repetition, and PGI/IGP mishandling the game for so many months.

It didn't start that way. Group was pretty decent. Then they started winning. Human nature. Not much fun for me, though.

Okay. I will wait for the MWO voip. I already know the attackers win easily if all on comms in the current build. LRMs got nerfed or bugged 2-3 weeks ago so that flipped the balance to attackers. Just my experience with CW going back to the start-up.
