As little as as I have spent in the last 2 years... I'd like to see you TRY to tell me how I am to play.

Yup I can and will play both side of that coin.

I know you think you understand what you thought I said. But what you fail to realize is what I said is not exactly what I meant.
If you think you can tell me how to play the game I offer you the chance to try.

If you are 3 km away from the action, where your team is getting slaughtered while you scratch the toenails of the enemy because that's 'how you do it', you aren't contributing.
Then I suppose you're going to set a minimum damage requirement per game.
Oh, and I suppose you're going to go out and find every single person who does this, every single game.
You're arguing about a rare case. It doesn't seem rare, because it's easy to blame your team after you die, but it's extremely rare to find somebody who has done absolutely nothing important in a fast mech. The problem with that mentality is that it punishes people who are attempting to play the game as it's intended.

There are currently 2 running on this topic...The rules set out by PGI are pretty clear and they have had mods clarify them in the past but everybody wants to argue their point of view..
I already gave up on the subject, if you team treason I will report you, just as much as I would report a TKer. if you want to run out the clock after participating in the fight by doing damage, that's fine it's allowed by PGI and something we all agreed to by playing the game.
.
OK so the rules are so clear that this is illegal, how come one of PGI's own paid stooges on the NGNG streams has called people's locations out in skirmish and hasn't been punished. If the rules are so clear why do people have e mails from support saying that powering down in skirmish is a reportable offense? If this is all so clear and obvious why do these threads exist? And most of all if this is PGI's policy, why don't they come into these threads and make if official?
Seems to be not as clear as you would make it. The onus is on PGI to make this clear and official, yet there are conflicting stories from their own support people. So you can continue to believe it's clear all you want, the issue is clearly not settled and is unlikely to be as PGI knows it created a mess with skirmish mode.

That's literally the dumbest response I've ever seen to a question like that.
I've never seen a single shooter in which delaying a game is a bannable offense. Not one. It's virtually impossible in most shooters anyway.

Image if you had to wait in War Thunder for 30 minutes because there's one guy that is just flying from corner of the map to corner because he doesn't want to die.And here we are talking about a game where repairs are a thing, and where this might be a problem (realistic and sim battles), repairs are really expensive. But it doesn't happen because A. People actually try to win, B.It's punishable.
