This thread is amusing. Literally who died and made Mariks (who have never been on the clan front) king? Or Kurita and their 'retreat into Davion from the SJ even when Davion are defending us'.......Kurita doesn't even deserve a vote here from their total cowardice.

Steiner has been the only house defending against the clans since day 1. SRoT and DG (over 80 people combined simultaneous offensive) took a CGB planet last night just us. Meanwhile, Kurita ghost capped 2 worlds AFTER the 'ceasefire' while we were attacking the CGB. Obviously Kuritans 'retreat' in more than one direction.

Kurita literally broke the ceasefire in the first attack window. Just a fact.

Steiner units will be more productive retaking lost planets from the cowards that ghost drop us while we defended the north. Steiner has lost more planets from ghost dropping sissy IS houses than to the clans...which we pushed back into their own space once already.

As far as MS is concerned....shoot me off a PM on your next Kuritan offensive:) You were Steiner in the past and we wouldn't mind a 2nd tour of duty anytime. Steiner are used to merc groups doing their thing for the pay/glory.

So, are you speaking for Steiner?

but your attacking kurita as we speak

Are we or are you?

I was in one match vs. Kurita today, well before the planet was in danger, and purely for fun - and it was a loss. We left the planet and went back to the Clan front. Sure as hell isn't anyone I know attacking Kurita. The Kurita Staging Area in FWLM TS is a ghost town.

Sounds like someone running a certain false flag didn't think his accusation through.

If you guys actually wanted to do this right, you would have set a start date for the star league. Informed all units participating, and had them go to whatever factions on the front. This way units aren't trapped in the back on a faction unable to do anything until their contract runs out.

Everything thus far is trial runs. It's all still a work in progress, but we didn't have time to **** around with how little was left of the FRR.

Steiner had no problems with attacking and capping 3-5 planets from Kurita during the last great clan offensive when we trusted you in good faith. I'd definitely watch where you throw rocks since Steiner is doing it in a glass house.

Given how little is left of FRR I don't understand why MS went FWL. They can attack on numerous active fronts from FRR and might even be able to save it. Instead they are in the FWL pushing the bordrs here.

Not that I'm overly upset about that. I like purple and it does free up teh mainline units to go fight the clans. It just seems an odd choice to join a faction that was entering a period of ceasefire with it's neighbors.

The reason being patently obvious: Because **** us and **** how we want to play, that's why.

my vote was for FRR but got out voted, but we joined before your cease fire. but i don't know how many times this can be said, the cease fires you make is only with units and your self not anyone else.

Also the real leaders of your faction are giving us MC/mechbays/ and GXP for fighting for Marik since you do not want to fight on the planets they pick for you to fight for.

1. Can't blame people for wanting to visit the sunny southwest Inner Sphere. It's quite pleasant this time of year.
2. Are you saying that MS cant be held to honor the agreements made by the factions they choose to sign on with?

So you ARE saying that MS can't be trusted.

Thanks. I'll take note of this in all future conversations with Tony and Bizzle.

I don't think *I* run my faction, but I am one of the people that those who are the leaders of your group come to talk to when they want to talk to the combined forces of the Marik Loyalists at house-marik.com.

Thanks for letting me know MS's position though.

Cool story Bro.

In the past we had a pretty good relationship with MS. I remember when you guys were in Steiner, Bizzle came to us and asked that we not attack Steiner for the duration of your visit, so as not to foul the plans they had while working there.

I can tell you that in the future, any such request will be ignored if I have any say in it. And I'll link the above quoted post as the reason.

Keep on talking there puddin' you're doing your unit proud

So you are saying MS Is not getting the option to defend clan planets? Have you sent in a bug report?

8) My understanding regarding this situation of this star league is that MS is more than willing to help out and work with whatever agreements are binding the IS or Clan factions HOWEVER for some reason were seen as a threat because people know full well that if we decide to focus on a faction if provoked we would do what we did to wolf, or that we swap around from faction to faction as we see fit.

Then you should speak with your fellow unit posters. You and hybrid are using the word 'faction' differently. hybrid would argue that are no agreements between factions, just between units. Agreements he feels he does not have to honor if PGI is willing to give him Cbills and LP for going against them. Many units that attended the meeting seemed to think ceasefires would be accepted between the units- but this runs contrary to the opinions presented by other members of MS who think ceasefires are bad and that a constant open state of war should be desired to not limit contracts/available targets.

Personally, I have no problem with MS, it's members, or how they play the game.

But it would seem that MS's interest in collaborating with the nSL comes more from feeling snubbed than any desire to accomplish any of it's goals. Goals, that other very vocal members, are opposed to.

Just my 2 cents.

Bizzle only talks for one unit in MS, im sorry your so mad that your true plan has now been shown how cowardly you really are, to hide behind the idea of the noble star league and cower in fear that you could not hold your borders with out the cease fire, its such a good thing MercStar took the up the mantle your true faction leaders handed down and fought for the Marik people, not abandon them.
