In other news, 3 ERPPC 9S sucks at defending itself from firestarters and huggins but is great at killing your snipers.

It's the main reason I avoid it. I enjoy fun.

I would say that is still pretty good/ok against lights, since the ER-PPC has no minimum range and packs one hell of a punch. If the light driver makes 1 mistake, get's alpha'ed (45 pinpoint damage) and he's toasted or nearly toasted.
Though CW is a team effort, in which there's no 3/3/3/3 rule, therefore its effect on the battlefield is more evident. For what I saw, the TDR plays a backbone role (which I think should be at least shared with mediums). Moreover, the TDRs scar everything they see, until they come close enough to get alpha'ed in the face 3x-ERPPC or they are in such a bad shape that the rest of the team can simply roll everything.

Because buffing individual IS Mechs so they can compete with those two wasn´t going to work. And we all knew that.
Thank you for your time.

Players who can't see beyond their allegiance to Inner Sphere or Clans and constantly engage in pissingcontests to debate whether the Timber Wolf or Thunderbolt should be nerfed harder, should all slap themselves with a trout.
However, there's no need for Inner Sphere fanbois to defend the TDR-9S. Russ Bullock has already said he's not going to nerf it. Because according to PGI research carried out in 2013, fans just love excessive PPC spam.
Its one of the 2 IS cnfgs that puts damage in 1 place/panel as well as Clan mechs generally do, Gauss being the other........ thats 2 choices we have to match Clan weaponry..........

3 IS ER PPCs only do 30 damage in a full alpha. Only clan ER PPCs can do 45.
THE OP IS A CLANNER IN DISGUISE!

Yesterday I tried to play CW with a "normal" deck. Faced with an endless spam of Stormcrows, Timbers and Hellbringers, it didn't do well. The next time we brought mass 9S'. It was hilarious, but even.

I also noticed that people were filing through a chokepoint 1-3 mechs at a time at which point the user of a TDR-9S would take their arms off, and if they decided to stand still for a long time they would get cockpitted. After the first wave of people died doing this, the next would come and try to get through that chokepoint to the generator but alas they would also instantly lose arms. Why can't I leisurely walk through a chokepoint? Pretty dumb, nerf the TDR-9S.
Lastly, I noticed that when the above two failed, the generators were rushed and the strangest thing happened...the TDR-9S was picking mechs apart because instead of trying to gain fire superiority on the way to the generator or rush it with lights, the decision was made to ignore all of these things and get wrecked. Why does the TDR-9S get to use the tactics it wants but I can't use what I want? Nerf the TDR-9S.
-In regards to the Awesome, I don't really care about lore, hell my name is making fun of nerds who give a **** about stuff like that, but even with quirks the Awesome would have serious issues and most of them stem from the fact that it is fat as **** and no one in MWO is going to come to their rescue about it being a lifestyle choice.

What F'ing pipe are you smoking ?!?
Clan weapons are almost entirely spread damage weapons. For the only 2 that are not, gauss and erppc (which btw also has a spread effect for clans), the IS has access to them as well, AND... the IS is able to boat them far better on more mechs. Plus the IS has a greater range of FLD weapons in general.
I mean WTF, is your argument really what IS players are using now a days ??? Because that is weak and ignorant on multiple levels. You obviously are one of the non thinking "clan are op" spouters, who are just pissed because you die to a clan mech. The "clan are op" cry has always been a hyper inflated statement with a weak "perception based" argument. There are a LOT of issues clan mechs have. But the IS players NEVER want to point those out. Mainly because their cries fall apart really fast. RoFL. Just hilarious.
