Lmao did you see the onslaught between MS and the Star League ...... Seems like one of the larger Merc units was asked that there participation was not wanted by some loyalist units I would gather. To me it looks like the Star League is its own little RP club, with loyalist bouncers at the gate.

Then you clearly weren't at the conference that set it all in motion.

This has been attended to, and all merc units are welcome if they're willing to follow a few good-faith rules.

Arrrgh!

We be pirates and nobody be a tellin' us what to do!

Arrrgh!

...Seriously now, you don't actually expect to dictate to all players and Units exactly how they should play CW, do you? That's supreme arrogance.

If certain players or Units want to voluntarily participate, then I think that's great! Don't presume to speak for the rest of us or seek to impose your will on us though. A lot of us play games for fun and to get away from the rigors and frustrations of everyday life (including politics). The last thing we want, is to turn our relaxation into something that resembles work or politics. ;)

In short, do what you and your cronies want, but don't get your shorts in a knot when some of us are "disinclined to acquiesce to your requests."

I don't think anyone ever said anything of "forcing" people to join. It's a confederation of units who have elected to be part of it.

That doesn't mean we won't put the strength we've assembled to aggressive use in pursuit of our goals, it just means that no one is beholden to following our charter if they don't want to be part of the nSL.

Yeah I'm pretty sure people would love to see WoL there.

Really depends on who you ask.. For some I do not think it is a desire for control but rather a desire to fulfill their RP storylines. Although some might believe that CW is only for those who want to partake in RP events. I look at CW as more of a game mode standpoint similar to Planetside 2's events which are not 24/7.

No, I'm afraid I didn't see it. To be honest, life is so hectic for me right now that I barely have time to play MWO. That's one reason why these ceasefires irritate me a bit; when I log on and get to run drops with my Unit, I want to be able to fight and do whatever we want or is in our best interests without worrying about a lot of fan-created politics, lol. :)

Why wouldn't they? WoL was instrumental in brokering the CF between Marik and Liao.
Rather have them than some of the petulant shitthrowers who were there and are now having a tantrum

Well, ****-throwers gonna ****-throw.

Hello folks, been too long, been away from the game for a bit. WoL's rolling with Kurita now, I guess. Gotta get those noobs and neverpays some more mechbays, I guess.

Threads like this are why my mechs tend to stay green/black/yellow.

I like the idea of a star league to get people pointed at the clans, but I doubt you'll see everyone get on board. I hope it doesn't turn into a thing where people get all cloacahurt over a planet changing colors here and there.

If we really want the CC to be able to participate meaningfully in CW, we should lobby PGI for a CC wormhole to some northern area. Steiner would be the funniest (well second funniest - an attack lane to Butte Hold is ALWAYS the best), but I bet you could convince Kurita High Command to roll with it more easily.

Ni-Hao!
Today we became availible for atack a Marik's planet Bora, and Dav's planet Ashley.
All we want to make a north corridor to clans border. So we need to choose which vector would we atack - North or East? And who can make deal with Mariks about this? Would cheasefire with Mariks continue if we capture some planets on northern border of Liao?

If I'm not mistaken, Capella is (or was?) open for attack by Marik this (european) morning, so I would go east. Our purple friends are a bit unpredictable at the moment.

I would respect our ceasefire with Marik and head East and take Ashley off the Davions. Capella is right on the border and could be vulnerable and as Thorn mentioned above - we don't want to add more noise to the current Marik/Kurita issue.

Head East and take the fight to the Davions - that's my recommendation.

Right now Liao is open for Marik atack. and its belong do Dav's.
What will we do when Marik blocks all northern planets on our border?
I just ask Zvolimir, or someone other who was trying to make nSL, to talk to Marik about this.

We should talk about it once the algorithm brings us north again. Right now it looks like we are heading towards New Syrtis.

Lore, schmore. I care only about is pushing back Teddy Baarz, Plushy Katz, and any other clanz (be them obvious or hiding under IS factions) into oblivion ;)

It's an issue, Gonta.

If they take Liao, then we have beef. We're going to get our capitol worlds, and I don't really think it matters who holds them at the time. If it did, then maybe we could have come to a better result for our ceasefire with Davion.

That's really all there is to it. If they restrain from taking Liao, then we don't have any beef.

As of now, Marik is 4/15 on Liao. There's a chance that if Marik takes it, they will cede the planet once we get to attack it. But we've seen that factions tend to hold onto planets they've taken for various reasons. Just a heads up, our purple friends, we will get Liao back no matter who's holding it.

Silly algorithm. Why does it keep taking us in this random direction??

If anything, this just means we need to work harder on taking planets as often as we can. If we need to chew through all of Davion space and wrap back around to get to Tikonov and Liao then so be it!

Seems like as good a route as any.
