Who knows.

If the community has a strong opinion on something I don't see why they wouldn't allow these threads. Going back to the {Godwin's Law} forum days of niko won't do them any good. Frustrate customers probably, but nothing positive that's for sure.

I can tell you if this thread gets closed within any sort of reply that will be the nail in the coffin for this game for me and my roughly $100/year I spend trying to play it.

The forums are an essential service for receiving player feedback. Each player's individual feedback is important to us, and as such: We need feedback to be as clear, concise and organized as possible. Posts which derail such efforts, whether intentionally or unintentionally, humorously or aggressively, will be subject to moderation. Posts designed to announce intentions to leave the game often end poorly as they become centres of "flame-wars". As such: We believe that the personal approach is best, and urge any players wishing to leave the game to notify their friends through private channels. Polls and Petitions regarding Game Balance often suffer from leading questions, incomplete information, or other issues which may skew data and result in fallacies such as red herrings, false dilemmas, promoting a confirmation bias, etc... When a poll is deemed necessary to obtain more quantitative player feedback on a pre-existing feature or a matter of balance, it will be created by a staff member.
Players CAN use polls to recommend New Features in the Feature Suggestion sub-forum only.

I guess that applies?

I remember reading where they had flat out said that petitions were disallowed but it looks like they changed it maybe

I want the cenurion detail texture back over the cannon arm
It could be a much nicer box than what we have atm but its ok
That fugly lack of grit on the current cn9 is horrid
Yenlo is worst affected

Yup, look at my post back on page 2... Went from tiger stripes to stupid ZEBRA stripes!

Ugly and ugly can get. Not only is the YLW the size of most heavies. The latest refresh pass has turned it into a hunk of junk!

We need more support to get our wants fixed!

Im abstaining from playing until then.

Dear PGI,

Please restore the AC20 arm on the Yen-Lo-Wang to its former glory. The stupid box with the stupid cylinder on it it's hideous looking and just a WTF scenario no ifs, ands, or butts. Period.

Is it me, or does the original bore diameter look smaller than teh new one? The barrel is thicker looking but the bore doesn't look larger to me.

I would buy a YLW if it was the only CN9 with the old gun arm.

Part of the problem, in addition to the barrel casing being anemic compared to what it was making it a Weeny Gun™, it's not even centerline to the arm. Making it worse, of course is the lack of casing behind the gun barrel too.

It's tragic really, and PGI should feel bad. Because it's bad.

I really like that you can actually tell what gun is in the arm now instead of having a super huge cannon arm for 3 machine guns. Now that they have scaled the barrels up a bit I'm happy with it. So, anti-signed?

I like that as well. I just want the original cannon to be the display for anyone carrying an AC20. Right now AC20 looks like ac10.

Can we combine all the 'rescale Centurions and make them smaller' with the 'Give Centurions a giantly huge freakin gun arm' threads?

Why don't all of these changes only apply if you aren't using stock? So many of these mechs look terrible after the change, and if the changes only apply to non-stock loadouts you can still easily tell exactly what weapon the mech is carrying by looking at it (that being the reason for the changes in the first place).

don't know I have to admit

I don't see the problem with a petition if done respectfully

Top tip

Telling Paul to put his tackle in a food blender for castrating the Wang, would not be respectful, and shouldn't be part of a petition address
