Every mech I dropped in tonight would enter an "infinite" spin when I used center legs-to-torso. It was very disorienting and difficult to bring the mech back under control. Center torso-to-legs works fine (I don't use that though) and I do not run arm-lock. I had to remove the button from my keyboard setup to prevent my year long habit of using center legs while maneuvering from death spiraling me.

As a habitual 'F' key user throughout a match... this is not good news. The pre-hotfix bug was bad but sounds like it has gone from bad to worse.

Really sounds like they need to hotfix back to the original pre-patch mechanics/ code while they work on the bugs with the revised.

Testing the glitch Catho and I found that any mech that had the torso yaw and skilled yaw bonus that exceeded 180, that pushing the default F key would basically try to center your mech to the rear facing. With the Ice Ferrets and Stormcrows, it is possible that it doesn't happen but it is based on what pods you have mounted and the bonuses that are provided there. 2 out of 3 of my Stormcrows had 180+ and those were the ones affected. All my Enforcers had the problem and I only tested on my Ice Ferret A since I knew I could torso turn almost backwards on it and it also has the issue. So if you hover over the mechs in mechlab to see the info, any of them that show the 2 numbers adding to exceed 180 wil have the issue.

Except Battletech mechs are far more mobile in the lore than the game really allows

see: Atlases punching mechs so hard they explode, melee in general, etc

Except this isn't the battletech Table Top or Books, its the video game Mechwarrior based off it. We don't have melee, our mechs are 2-3x more durable than the canon, we have massive amounts of ammunition to compensate for that, and our heatscale is way off and bloated in comparison. The quirks we have are making mechs act insanely, topped off with the skill system that lets them bloat the mechanics even further, basics by a ridiculous amount when you calculate them and really see the numbers.

There's a reason the mechanics are so out of whack and the meta is so ridiculous, leaving many mechs who can't run it in the dust. The core mechanics are bloated and aren't being fixed, thus the 'band ****' they make aren't actually help, just making it seem not as worse as the problems are now under bandages blocking your view.

Honestly the 'broken' torso twist is about right with the 2x basics.

I was just using two variant of Hunchback (one full master one full elite without master module skill complete), when I pressed "F" the mech would twist all the way one direction and walk in a spin. The only way to stop it was to press the "A" or "D" keys then manually reset my direction. Where I moved my mouse didn't matter. Pressing "C" seemed to work fine....Happened 10 min ago and for the last 1/2 hour. I was playing earlier with my Commando and Orion and it wasn't a problem.

Off topic.

This is a real problem so you don't put "broken" in UK quotes.

Can't pilot my best mechs (Sparky and the 3M) for the challenge, since Griffins have enough torso twist to be affected. This really sucks.

I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is the same thing, or a different bug, but for me, it's side-to-side torso movement, with arms unlocked, on my STK-5S. Feels very sluggish, as if mouse sensitivity got turned down(checked that this was not the case).

Thought I was going crazy, as I feel like I've only noticed it today, but then my buddy who also drives a 5S said the same thing.

Centering the torso is whacky and rough, but to be fair, I never tired it before it got broken on this chassis, so I have nothing to compare it to.

Only mech I've had this problem on is the Sparky hero Griffin. Hadn't experienced it till me last game of the night when I chose that mech.

today I've piloted all the Panther, Enforcer & Warhawk variants. Sparky is the only one that had the problem with the F button.

The center leg to torso bug is still there (i wonder what did the hotfix actually do)...
It only seems to affect mechs with more then 180 degree torso twist arc though.
