The center leg to torso bug is still there (i wonder what did the hotfix actually do)...
It only seems to affect mechs with more then 180 degree torso twist arc though.

I did something with the Atlas yesterday and for a tapping lock a unlock alot and pressing F brought the same bug back..

And i use F alot!

+1, Stormcrow still displaying this behavior when legs are centered.

Never noticed it before the hotfix. AFTER the hotfix, my Hunchbacks do this. However, I should point out that I almost never use the F key, so the issue may have been present for me before the hotfix too. But the point is that the problem still exists.

Same here! I never had the problem until I drove a Hunchback today.

Apparently, I use the F key and center my legs to my torso A LOT.
The muscle memory is strong: I couldn't keep my finger off that key for long, so I couldn't steer for half the match.

I take it this mainly affects Mechs with a certain amount of torso wist?
Piloting my Nova seemed fine, then moved to my main (read 90% of time) Hunchback 4sp and crazy circling experienced.
not happy, come on pgi get this sorted.

Still broken. Dropped in a Vindicator 1X on alpine, as soon as I hit "F" the mech spins in circles and won't stop unless I press "C"

Summary:
165 deg of YAW is ok, 190deg is not and using [F] Centre Legs to Torso causes spinning and weirdness.

A little testing with my small garage of mechs, seems any mech that have upto (this is the limit of my mechs) 165 deg of YAW rotation is fine, (eg Stormcrow) in my findings.
My hunchies [HBK] all have 190 deg (love this) of YAW rotation and all exhibit the CRAZY rotating and spinning when the [F] Centre Legs to Torso button is used. Hitting [C] Centre torso to legs seems to over ride and correct the spinning.

Is there a point where a certain amount of YAW rotation causes the bug?
anyone with a mech that has YAW between 165 and 190 to find the point at which this happens?

OK, this is already known, but turning Arm Lock on, stops and prevents the spinning crazies. (turn arm lock off, and hit centre legs to torso again and everything is spinning and weird again )

I always play without arm lock (as most do I imagine), but I guess I get to play with my HBK (with arms locked) until the bug is fixed.

+1 to your observations.

As to your hypothesis, Sarlic said it happened to his Atlas, and they have a narrow range of motion. <shrug>
Maybe the bug is with certain chassis'.
Or maybe I misunderstood Sarlic.

Anyway, here is some detail from a couple of pages back:

Testing the glitch Catho and I found that any mech that had the torso yaw and skilled yaw bonus that exceeded 180, that pushing the default F key would basically try to center your mech to the rear facing. With the Ice Ferrets and Stormcrows, it is possible that it doesn't happen but it is based on what pods you have mounted and the bonuses that are provided there. 2 out of 3 of my Stormcrows had 180+ and those were the ones affected. All my Enforcers had the problem and I only tested on my Ice Ferret A since I knew I could torso turn almost backwards on it and it also has the issue. So if you hover over the mechs in mechlab to see the info, any of them that show the 2 numbers adding to exceed 180 wil have the issue.

My Enforcers only have the Basic efficiencies unlocked, so maybe they'll be immune until I have the Elite efficiencies and the Basics are doubled.

No it definatly happened. Not sure how i can reproduce, but i tapped several times the lock on and off and i began twisting and suddenly the weird overtwist got back. Tapping C resolved it. But i use the F key alot as well.

But i can test after the tournament, i dont want to waste premium time.

I got this glich on ALL my Hunchbacks, but only on them. All other Mechs i have (Griffin, Shadowhawk, Cent, Catapult, Crab) dont have this problem.

Here, i made a short record in training grounds: https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

When i hit button for center legs, the spinning starts.

Thats the mech that got me REAL bad. Suddenly, forward was spin uncontrollably, and backwards was forwards.

Just played a match with HBK, with arm lock engaged. Playable but there's a definite weirdness going on with the torso twist / reticule. Reticule feels sluggish and laggy. Not a nice experience.

Lets roll back please PGI.

Kit Fox and Hunchback.
Mad Dog and Atlas are working.
So not all Mechs are glitched.
Weapon reset to weapon group 1 is also there when i use a Awesome Mech.

I've been working on levelling this Stormcrow-C....150+ yaw torso twist.

didn't try it with any others, but judging from the feedback here, i'd say LOS mechs aren't affected. However, MOST of my mechs i prefer to drive (can afford to, that is), have extended yaw, so i'm pretty sure they will be affected (poor little jenner).

Hitting the F (Center Legs-to-Torso) results in an immediate spiral to the left and the mech will literally run in tight circles until i manually JAM my D-PAD to in the opposite direction. It's always precious to see the other mechs i dropped with standing there (with their <150 degree yaw mechs) watching me wondering WTH is going on.

Please update with fix timing...thanks.
