Lester McDougan of the merc outfit The Rounders where I am patiently awaiting command of a recon lance. We may be poor and our dropship is a rental but give us a job and well come through for you 90% - 75% of the time all the time. I have deep, deep, DEEP ties with the Lyran side of the FEDCOM and would like to take the opportunity to tell any Hemidall jerks monitoring this board to mind their own business.

My Experience: Played MW2 and expansions as well as MW3 and MW4 though they fell short in some areas they were still battletech related and thus excellent despite any short comings. Currently tearing it up in MWLL as often as possible. I also read as much of the cannon fiction present for the Battletech universe as I can get my hands on it as well as a disturbing love of the RPG and board game.

Does anyone know where I parked my Locust?

Lichbane front and center! Played BT on the tabletop through the 80's. Played all the MW games. Damned if I'm going to miss this one.

Daniel "Delta" Ferel signing in.
Another MW:LL and MW3 vet and avowed Katrina Steiner-Davion fanboy.

Looking forward to see you guys on the battlefields, where our glorious assault mechs will drive you before us and push you off planet.

WalkingRaven reporting. Often called 'Meltdown', I've boiled the coolant tanks dry everywhere but the arctic. Only tabletop before, have mercy.

Gynkoba Loba
Marion Hegemony

Its been nearly 3 years since I piloted a mech. but these hands still tremble to grip the controls. I am certain, if the sea of combat is worthy, I can birth some of my brethren here.

I looked through the roster and recognize some familiar names from the past... I certainly hope that the years have been kind to them.

I look forward to stomping through the cities, seeking out your soft metal parts, and rendering them to slag.

Previous Games:
MWLL (beta)
MW4
MW3
MW2
MW
Crescent Hawks revenge (yea..for those who remember...)

Sauron reporting for duty! I hail from the Battletech : Firestorm (VWE) community and the Mechwarrior Leagues.com FFPCNR and Solaris leagues. I have been an active Firestorm pilot since 2003, I have played most of the PC versions of the games as well as some tabletop. I look forward to seeing how this works as an F2P MMO and yet still remains a first person sim. IMHO first person is the only way to go, so I am glad it appears it will be staying that way at this point. Also being into LoTRO and seeing it convert to F2P, I can say to those that worry, do not worry so much. I doubt it will be "pay to win" as some fear. I still enjoy playing Firestorm in the Tesla II cockpits currently at the Dallas site, but I miss owning and operating my own set back in NJ. Looking foward to many new adventures and seeing how the clan part mixing in to this all works out as well. :) ****'S HORSES! (I hope)

Gwydion here. Started with MW2, up through the various MW4 incarnations. Hoping this game lives up to the promise and scratches my Mech combat itch. Think I see some familiar names in this thread, hope to see you all on the battlefield.

hmm, would that be THE Gwydion, sexiest legs in the MWL from solaris leagues? :) If it's ye, hail old friend. :D

The name's Kro. New to MW, I hope all the good things I've heard about the series are true. Though since the first MW game I'm going to try will also be an MMO I guess anything can happen.

Here's hoping for the best.

Hail MechWarriors!

Sean here, from just north of the Dallas area. Played Battletech and MechWarrior on the pc since Crescent Hawks Inception and the orig MechWarrior. Mechwarrior 4 and MW:Living Legends are the order of the day on my pc at them moment. But a quite a few years ago, I had the chance to play in the Virtual World TeslaII pods with a group in Dallas called VGCorps and that's where I now prefer to pilot my mechs. :D

Looking forward to honorable combat with you all! :D

aha, more Tesla II pilots found. hail! :)

Well, Sauron already knows I'm here ( :)), but allow me to add myself to the ranks of the Firestorm pilots on here! I'm JellyFish72, also known as any variation of that you can think of (and I'll answer to them all), or Stephanie to those who know me. I also fly in the pods down here in Dallas with the VGCorps peeps. :D We're a pretty rad bunch, if I do say so myself. And to horrify all of you, I've never actually played a Mechwarrior game, tabletop, or anything other than Firestorm - I just wandered into a pod and got hooked by the pilots. :D

Mindflayr Furey, past Khan of Clan Ice Hellion on mplayer.com league days. Own almost all of the novels, some tabletop gear, all the technical readouts, and have been fascinated by them since 96. Played mw2 exclusively as my 1st Online Video game. I played but was dissapointed with mw3 and mw4, because despite being more realisitc with the jetting systems in 3/4, it made the gameplay way less fun than mw2. Been playing Tribes 1,2,V and now 2 again while waiting for a good game in the series. Looking forward to seeing if this does the trick.

See you on the battlefield.
